Midnight found herself in a white, empty void. Fog laid everywhere. All she could see was a mysterious silhouette of a person. She tried to approach it, but it vanished. Then, it reappeared somewhere else. She tried to approach it again, with identical results. This went on and on until she was surrounded by many clones of it.

Midnight woke up confused and a little freaked out. "Just what the heck was that all about?" Midnight asked herself. It turned out it was a dream, a strange one at that. She glanced at her phone, which had been left in her room before she left to fight, and saw that it was now 7:00 A.M.. "I guess I better get ready for the day!" Midnight said, ready to start her new life.

She opened up a wardrobe to find what to wear. "Gee, did the word 'modesty' ever mean anything to me?". Everything else in there still looked a little "adult", including her first outfit that Aizawa told her about, prompting her to blush even harder. Eventually, she tried on a school uniform. It still showed off a bit of her figure, but it was the safest thing she had. She also found a glasses case, in it were a pair of glasses that seemed to fit perfectly. "These definitely make me look a little more modest" she said "Besides, they look perfect for a school teacher!"

She stepped outside and gazed at the bright sun and small, yet puffy clouds. While she had no memory of her past, the feeling of a bright sunny day felt oddly comforting and soothing to her. A cool breeze swept in, bringing back a very strange, yet familiar feeling. While Kayama laughed as the breeze blew her hair, she couldn't help but long for any memories to be brought back by this vague sense of nostalgia. She looked at her phone and saw a text from Aizawa, "A bit busy at the moment. Sending All Might to pick you up instead."

"What could possibly be holding him back?" Kayama thought to herself frustratedly. She felt better once she recognized the name as the strong, handsome man posing with her in the picture. "He must have been a very good friend of mine." she thought "Maybe even my boyfriend."

After a few minutes of waiting, a junked up blue sedan rolled up. The window rolled down, showing a skinny, withered looking man with tall blonde hair. "Ahk!" screamed Kayami "Quit staring at me like that you pervert!"

"I'm not here to do anything inappropriate to you" the man responded "I am here to-" "I'm not interested in any drugs you're selling creep!" she screamed. The man looked stunned for a second and then corrected her, "I am All Might, the one Aizawa sent over to take you to UA Academy." Midnight looked humiliated and desperately apologized. "It's ok, I've been getting that a lot lately" All Might responded. Midnight dragged herself into the passenger seat, still embarrassed with herself.

"So, why can't Aizawa come pick me up?" asked Midnight. All Might answered, "He and another hero had some business to take care of, but got a little held back in the process". "Is it hero work?" asked Midnight. "It's complicated, but it does have something to do with the war," said All Might. Kayama was still confused as to how this was the same person as that muscular man in that picture. She tried to think of what else to say and just asked, "So what's your story?" All Might took a deep breath, all but stating that this was going to be a long story.

"I used to be the number one hero. Whenever I wasn't walking around looking like a skinny drug dealer, I was a super muscular, all powerful hero. I had the powerful quirk, One for All. Over time, my power started to weaken, resulting in me deflating into this a lot quicker than usual. Even though I kept a smiling face whenever out in public, on the inside, I felt that everything was hopeless. Until one day, a little boy with ambitions beyond the horizon came into my life. His name is Midoriya and I helped train him. Eventually, I had to retire, but I have found a new passion in the process, training the new generation of heroes and convincing the world that anyone can be a hero".
