I had been a sophomore at Konoha High. I had been what most would call uninteresting. I had friends, a male best friend who I thought of as a brother, Sasuke Uchiha. I also had a female best friend who I considered a sister, Sakura Haruno. I loved them and would do anything for them. I knew that they would do the same for me. In the beginning, I went to school so that I could graduate, get into a college or university of my choice, graduate from there and get a job. Sounded simple enough, right? Wrong! All of my planning for my future went down the drain the moment I laid eyes on him. Itachi Uchiha. The man that would soon become my friend, my boyfriend, my love, my husband, my life and the father of my kids. It would start then. Honestly speaking though, I wouldn't change my experiences for the world. Because while I may not know it yet, I would soon come to know that having him in my life would be the greatest decision I had ever made.

Class had started and I as usual was paying attention. Unfortunately for me though, my two best friends who ironically sat with me at the back of the classroom, right next to each other were dating. They wouldn't stop sucking each other's faces. It was like they thought of one another as lollipops or ice cream with the amount of face sucking that they were doing. For the whole entire freaking class, I paid attention and took notes. While my brother in-all-but-blood and sister in-all-but-blood sucked one another's faces. Funny thing is, even though they don't pay attention, they still get good grades. Because just like me, they are at the top of the class. We are the top 3 in our sophomore year.

As soon as the bell rang, I left. Not before looking back and seeing that they had finally come up for air and were packing up. Going out into the crowded hallway, I maneuvered myself through the throng of people coming and going and walked inside the classroom. Going all the way to the end, I found my seat. I liked sitting in the back, because I could concentrate better, plus the only ones to really be annoying were my dating 2 best friends.

School, after lunch passed by a whole lot quicker. Soon the final bell finished ringing and I packed my things, went to my locker, put away my materials and put into my backpack my homework that I would need to submit tomorrow during class. Shutting my locker closed, I grabbed my backpack and off I went.

The day started off like any other would. Boring and predictably usual. I had just gotten into the hallways, heading for the cafeteria to get some food for lunch, when I ran into him. It wasn't literal, more like metaphorical. He was tall, 6'4" I would say. He had long raven black hair tied into a low ponytail that went to about his mid-back. He had midnight blue-black eyes, that when the sun hit at just the right angle, looked as if a galaxy was inside. He was wearing the usual school uniform. White button down dress shirt, that had the first 2 buttons undone showing off his pale toned chest, with a necklace around his neck (in the Naruto series Itachi has a chain around his neck, that's the necklace he's wearing here), he didn't wear his tie, he wore his navy black jacket unbuttoned as well. He had on black slacks and shiny brown dress shoes. All in all he looked like a Greek God you would see or hear about in myths.

After I snapped out of my ogling phase and looked up to meet his his, I blushed so much that I resembled a really red lobster. He had one eyebrow cocked and was smirking at me. He even stretched his arms out, giving me a better view of him and his body. I was lucky no one else was in the hallway and that everybody had left to go to the cafeteria, or else they would have seen me look redder than a lobster.

"If you're done checking me out, would you at least introduce yourself?" He asked, a teasing lilt to his velvety smooth voice.

"Don't you think it's rude to ask a lady for her name, without giving yours first?" I asked him back, glad that I hadn't stuttered. Though my face was probably crimson at that point.
