Her naturally honey-glazed golden orbs wavered, along with her dying need for air, as oxygen rapidly drained out of her lungs at the tight grip of black oozing tentacles around her neck. She held on to it, slipping all the while doing so, due to the point that she was desperate to stay conscious, avoiding to notice her state of life sneaking away from her.
His demeanor, his aura, his face however, showed how watching her grip unto remnants of vitality under his choke, was merely an eighth of his satisfaction, his crooked smile widening, but in displeasure. Disappointed with her lack of reaction, he abruptly threw her to the other side of the area (if such an other side existed in the void), with so much force, a concerning crack was heard echoing.
She coughed up to gather more air, and once again, looked him in the eyes in hopes of understanding him, and acknowledging her.
In his perspective, however, there was nothing he could hear. While his true self ached at the sight of her succumbing to his own helpless wrath, it could be too late for him. He was waiting for her this entire time, he never intended to harm her because he knew she could be the only hope he had left, and yet here she is. Limp, and in a state of near-death, all because of him.
He placed his right palm to his face, covering it up in shame, despite his smile was ever so cheerful. He would never forgive himself if anything happens to her, especially if it was because of him. Then again, he never once forgiven himself the moment he fell to this shithole.
"I..." his glitched, transferring his focus on her, his smirk reaching ear-to-ear (if he has one)...
*3, 2, 1, play Again*
He recalled how humorous everything went. He was just a dad one day, and now--there's no escaping the monster in him.
"I havesn't been myself lately,
I don't blame you for not wanting to stay.
Saying things that I don't mean,
Not meaning what I say."Clearly, he didn't mean for any of this to happen, let alone expect it. The blame was on Silence, it was always Silence.
"When it's good, it's so good,
When it's bad, it's so bad.
Maybe I, really had gone mad!
What was I supposed to say, when I end up driving everyone away?"His entire career was his life, along with his family, and yet the Silence was his ultimate career. Is it then considered as his life, and family? He so badly wished not, for this career of his was now the cause of his distant relationship with his family, he regretted this fact the most. He felt as if a tear rolled on his cheeks despite the twisted situation he's in.
"'Cause I am a fire!
A crying, burning liar...
Seeing nothing, nothing, but myself,
And I'm the one with the lighter..."Noticing him a bit shakened, probably because of a thought, she slowly approached him. She was more than determined to bring him back to sanity, believing it was never too late, but most importantly, she demands answers.
Unfortunately, one of his growing substance-tentacles shot towards her, which she barely dodged in turn. She knew snapping him back to reality would be a hard chore.
"Every inch of me is charred,
God, what happened to my heart?
I'm about to fall apart, again, again!
And you're never coming back, and I'm not okay with that...
And I should've never let myself get attached!
Again!(16×)"She felt herself being pulled towards him by the soul, purple aura enveloping her entire being. Quick as a fox, as he was about to reach for her limbs, she used every ounce of determination left inside of her to kick away, causing for him to release her, and she was back on her feet, sprinting, all the while dodging the surroundings around her darkening.
