Jack's POV:
I am so freaking happy right now. Taylor and I were going on a date that I have been planning for like a week and it was finally happening. We were in a Uber on the way to our special destination and we were just talking about the show until the driver said we arrived. I looked outside to see Adam, Nolan and Nick in their places getting ready for part one of tonight.
I had Taylor change after the event into the dress that I told her to bring during our Skype call a couple of days ago. I also changed but into some khakis and a nice button up shirt.
We were going to start at a huge park that had a giant playground in the middle and I had the guys set up a picnic for us and then we were going to be immature teenagers and play on this playground cause why the heck not! Taylor and I get out of the car and I intertwine our fingers as we walk near Adam, Nolan and Nick.
"Welcome to part 1 of your date Taylor." Nick says smiling at her
"Part one?!" She exclaims confused
"Yes. There are 2 parts to this date and this is the fun amazing part." I say smiling down at her
"Well no time to talk! Your 'dinner' awaits! We'll see you guys tomorrow. Hope everything goes well." Adam says they all leave us to the peace and quiet of the park
"I really hope that this date is not costing you much." Taylor says sitting in front of me on the blanket that was laid on the ground
"No no no. This was all stuff that I bought at Target. Very in-expensive I promise." I say
"Good. Now what are we eating im starving!" She exclaims
"Well we have peanut-butter sandwiches, cut up apples, 4 water bottles and a small box of cookies." I say taking all the food out and opening all the containers
"Aha why water? Not that I hate water but...quite an odd choice don't ya think?" Taylor asks before biting into her sandwich
"Well since we are going to play on that beautiful playground after this meal, i thought that I should pick some things that won't make us wanna puke." I say causing her to laugh for a moment. God her laugh was contagious.
"Good point and yes ever since we got out of that Uber I have been eyeing that beautiful, gigantic TOWER OF FUN!" She exclaims finishing off her sandwhich
"Tower of fun?" I ask laughing at her odd word choice
"Yeah playground is too mainstream and I'm a hipster." She says snapping her fingers
"You are so insane you know that." I say as we both laugh at her weirdness. She said that most odd things but thats what made Taylor...Taylor
"I take that as a complement." She says eating one of the apple slices
Taylor's POV:
We finished eating our sandwiches and the apple slices but we eat only had 1 cookie since I wasn't that hungry and Jack said he didn't want to eat all the cookies alone so we just put them away to save them for later.
"I'LL RACE YOU TO THE SLIDE!" I yell as I start running towards the playground and run up the stairs and get to the top of the slide before Jack
"Hey no fair you got a head start!" He pouts
"ok ok...how about you go to that slide and we will race down and then whoever gets to the swing set wins. ok?" I say
"Alright. count us down." He says jogging over to the other slide
"Ok. 3...2...1!" I yell and we both going down our own slides and when I got to the bottom Jack was already getting up and running towards the swings with me close behind. We were a meter away but Jack ended up getting there first and a smirk was formed on his face when he saw me sit down about 2 seconds later.
"Looks like i win this one." He says victoriously
"Yup. and now we are tied." I say and the smirk falls from his face
"Don't you worry I will get you back next time" He says and gets up and walks behind my swing and i feel him pull my swing back and start to push me forward
"You do know that I know how to work this thing right?" I ask looking back at him smiling. He smiles back at me showing his dimples which made him look adorable. God I was so lucky to be on a date with him
"Yes I know but I'm trying to be a gentalman." He says
"Well stop and come swing beside me so I can see youuuu." I say
"ok ok!" He says and starts swinging beside me. We ended up just swinging on the swings for about 30 minutes having stupid contests and just talking about our lives back home and everything but I could tell that the more I talked about home Jack was getting sad knowing that in 2 days I would have to go back to Toronto and him back to Wisconsin. It really sucked and I hated it too but right now we were having such an amazing time and I don't want to ruin it
Jack feels his phone going off and looks at the screen and smiles. "C'mon part 2 of this date is starting now!" He exclaims and pulls me off the swing. We run towards the picnic stuff and a car pulls up in the small parking lot of the park. We get into the car and I see...Luke and Ethan?
"heyyyyyy" Ethan says smiling back at me. "Grayson was suppose to be here helping but bailed on us last minute. Sorry man." Ethan says to Jack but he assures him its fine
