"Dan I don't want to go in the shop alone." Phil pleaded
"I'll come with you, it'll be alright."
"I looked at him hopefully, and his eyes brightened when I said I would come with. A smile spread across his face.
"Then let's go!" He said. I smiled and looked at my feet.
"Alright, let me get my coat."
We went to the market and all was good until we started to pay for our groceries, when phil pointed out another shady looking guy.
"Its okay Phil, its not the same guy. We will leave as fast as we can, okay?" I whispered, but he still looked scared. Lucky for Phil, we got out before anything would have happened.
Soon after we left and started to walk back to the flat, we heard gunshots. Immideatly we both started running for home, and when we got there we set the groceries on the counter before I had to comfort phil.
"Its okay, Philly. We're not there. We're okay, and so are the citizens. He didn't do anything, its okay." I cooed. But honestly, I was terrified too.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away. The other night dear, as I was sleeping. I dreamt I held you in my arms, but when I woke up, I was mistaken. So I hung my head and I cried."
There are people out there trying to kill everyone, and I can't let that happen to my little lion. I can't.
I just can't.
