Chapter 18

Shade was resting in his room and I walked in. "Hey, are you okay" , I asked. "What do you want", he said. "Are you okay", I asked. "Yes, can we talk", he asked. "No", I said. "Please Emma, please, I'm begging", he said. "Five minutes, that's it", I said. I went up to him and sat beside him while he was laying down on his bed. "What" , I said in anger. "Okay can we please not be angry with each other and just talk", he said. "Okay", I replied. "I don't know what I did to make you ignore me and hate me for three whole days" , Shade said. "You really don't remember, do you" , I said to him.  "Not a clue", he said. "It was that night when I was attacked and when I got  hurt you said that you had medicine for my wound, then you asked me to come to your room, when I got there I saw you and Lauren making out with your clothes off on the bed", I explained. "Wait, OH, MY, GOD, NO, THIS IS NOT HAPPENING", Shade started going crazy. "Shade are you okay", I asked in fear. He got up and started to cry. "Shade, Shade, hello", I said. My heart was beating so fast. He was having a mental break down and saying the most crazy things. "How could I, I'm going to kill myself", he said. "I am sorry for breaking you're heart Emma, I love you", he said. My heart stopped and I went into a sudden shock. "You what", I said as a tear went down my face. " Yes, I love you, but I didn't have the guts to say it" , he said. "Shade I love you too", I said. He lifted his head up and he smiled at me. "You don't know what happened before that Emma, it's all coming back, Lauren gave me these pills to make me believe everything she says, Lauren told me that, I don't remember exactly" , he said as he tried to remember.  "Shade what did she a say,  think hard", I told him. "She said that you didn't love me and that she did", he told me. "That lying unattractive bitch" , I said as I was starting to get furious. "How could she do that", I asked. "Emma, I'm so sorry, can you please forgive me", he asked. "It wasn't your fault" , I said as I put one hand on his cheek. "What do we do", I asked Shade. "And I'm sorry for being a jerk and ignoring you and stuff", I apologized to him. "It's okay now we know the truth" , he said. "We have to beat Lauren, that bitch tried to steal my man", I say. "What", Shade says awkwardly. "Sorry", I said. "No, its okay" he said. I got a cloth and dipped it in some hot water. "Lay down and relax" , I say to him. He lays down with his head on his pillow. He has a six pack, wow. I just stared. "Okay,  carefully please", he said in pain. "Oh sorry", I said. I slowly rub his chest with the cloth over his bruises that I gave him. "Sorry about these, I was kind of mad at you", I apologized.  "It's okay", he replied.  He slowly gets up and his hand slowly approaches my neck. His hand on my neck, he slowly pulls me closer. My heart beating so fast. Our lips touch and we kissed softly. It's like magnets attracted to each other. It was meant to be.
