Chapter 19

My heart was beating so fast, but I knew that I was safe. We kissed and he pulled me onto the bed. He slowly crawled on top of me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and we started to kiss slowly. Shade kissed me gently. His head then moved to my neck. His lips slowly kissed my neck. It felt soft and nice. His hand moved to my back while he still kissed my neck. His hands moved to my shoulders and he slowly took my clothes off. "I love you so much", he said to me. "I love you too Shade", I replied.
We started to kiss again and he took his pants off.
Next thing I knew, we were both naked.
I held his neck and he started kissing me more. "Are you okay", he asked me. "Yeah, I'm fine" , I replied. "We can stop if you want?", he asked. "No, it's okay", I told him. We started to kiss more and all I could think of was how much I loved him. We kissed more and I started to cry softly. "Where have you been all my life, I've been hoping for many years for someone to change my life, and that someone is you Emma, I love you", he said. I pulled him closer to me, we kissed and started to cry. So many emotions were running through both of us. We were meant for each other, we trusted each other, and most importantly, we loved each other.

The next morning Shade and I woke up with each other. We got dressed and went down for breakfast holding hands. Shade sat across from me. We smiled at each other when suddenly Lauren came in and sat next to Shade. They started talking in a low voice go each other, almost like whispering. I tried to just mind my own business, but a part of me told me to listen to their conversation. Lauren started moving closer to Shade. I grabbed the table cloth over my legs and held it with a tight grip. Just calm down Emma, I thought to myself. I could tell that Shade was trying to ignore her, but he wouldn't  show it his expressions. She moved even closer to him now their arms touching each others. I looked down at the fork beside my plate. My arm started moving towards it slowly. She grabbed his neck and started to make out with him. "WHAT THE FUCK" , I yelled with the fork in my hand.
I got up and rolled over the table. Grabbing her neck I threw Lauren across the breakfast table. "Don't ever do that" , I screamed. Lauren got up and tackled me over the breakfast chair. She started to choke me and I couldn't breathe. "EMMA", Shade yelled. I put my right leg around her neck and flipped Lauren over me. I got up breathing heavily. Shade took me in his arm and comforted me. "Are you okay? That was crazy", he said. "Yeah I'm fine", I replied as I started breathing again. Lauren ran up to me with a knife while I was still in Shade's arms. I immediately pushed Shade out of the way and dodged her attack.  She kept swinging at me with the weapon, but I kept dodging her. Suddenly the knife swung so fast it cut my arm. It was deep and I crouched down in pain while holding my arm tight. Squinting my eyes Shade ran up to me. "You witch, how could you do this" , Shade said in anger. He pulled out his swords and jumped at Lauren. She moved out of the way and Shade went flying into a picture of a bunch of tiny words and pictures in a frame on the wall behind her. Lauren grabbed Shade by the back of his neck and threw him away from me at the far end of the table. She ran up to me and picked me up by my neck and threw me across the table. The glass cabinet with all the breakfast utensils broke and shattered. Sharp glass pieces were falling all over me. I couldn't move, get up, or speak. I could hear Lauren jump on to the table. She walked on the table towards me.
"So you finally found out the truth Emma", she said. "Why did you do this to him? What do you think you would've  got out of it?" , I asked her in anger and pain. Lauren jumped off the table and landed right in front of me. She started to kick me. "You are worthless" she said as she kicked me hard. "Weak", she kicked me again. "Pathetic" , kicking again. "You don't deserve to be the 50th" , she kicked me right in the stomach. "Most importantly,  Shade, is, mine" , she said to me as she kicked me hard one last time. "Got it" , she continued after the kicking stopped. A load of  anger was building up inside me. I couldn't feel any pain anymore. All I knew was that Lauren wasn't going to beat me, I don't  have to listen to what she said, and last, no one can ever take Shade away from me. I got up and turned around. She was walking out of the breakfast room. I ran up behind her and grabbed her behind the neck. She leaned back in pain and I threw her across the table. I flipped over it and grabbed a chair. As she was still on tbe ground I smashed a chair on her back. I turned her over and started punching her non-stop. My mind wasn't thinking and let my anger take over. I beat her up for Ally and for kissing Shade. Pulling her by the hair I dragged her out of the eating room to the elevator. I smashed her head on the button. The door opened, I gave Lauren one last punch in the face and threw her in the elevator. "That was for Ally and Shade. Back off Lauren, he's mine" , I said as the elevator door shut.
