Weblux: Under the Iceberg of the Interenet

The Disappearing Act

            ~You would think the day of August 6, 2021, would be like any day of the summer month. Sunny, hot, humid. The feeling of joy, happiness, optimism in the air. The socializing of young adults in the hallways during passing time. Which it was at first. But something about this bag brought a tense feeling to the room A 205. ~

"Why would you get the bag after being told specifically not to, do u want to get yourself hurt?" asked Eden

"Oh, shut up. Don't get your panties in a bunch. Its just a stupid bag probably apart of sum stupid joke." says Derick, which siting the duffle on the table located in the front of the room.

"See, there is nothing to be afraid of" he continues

He goes to tug on the zipper before being interrupted by a loud buzz from the intercom.

Everyone in the class jumps from the tension in the room.

-Skyler Tate wasn't even in that class but Gemma took that as a sign to speak up before it was too late-

"Derick stops it, you always let your ego get the best of you and one day it's going to hurt you. We need to do research on this bag before we take any further steps" says Gemma

"What type of research can we do on a bag, smarty pants?" says Derick

"Maybe by starting with the company name, Weblux?" says Eden

"You two are so dramatic, it's a BAG?!?" Derrick says while going in for the bag once again.

"DERICK WAIT!" screams Eden and Gemma in unison

It was too late. The damage had been done.

"What- "

Before Derick could explain what, he saw, the lights flashed on and off. In unison, the student's computers went to a black screen, then a white one, then black again with the words "WEBLUX" on them. All the students were captivated by their chrome books and immediately returned to their seats, like a magnet was attached to them. Their eyes were all hooked on their screens and couldn't seem to move them even if they tried. Each student saw their own compilation of images. The screens then flashed black again with "WEBLUX: Under the Iceberg of the Internet" revealing itself with an audio of an unidentified voice reading the words.

By the time the students looked up from their screens, the bag had disappeared.
