Nagtataka ko siyang sinundan ng tingin hanggang makalabas siya ng kwarto.  Sumunod ako at lumabas ng kwarto. I went down. Mom was with Tita Helene in the living room watching tv.

I went to them and tap mom's shoulder.

"Have you seen Thorn, mom?"

Bumaling siya sa akin at umiling.

"No, why?"

Umiling ako. Nagtungo kila dad and but I didn't saw him there. Where did he go?

Bumalik ako kila mommy at umopo sa isahang sofa. I watch the drama they're watching. My mom is a solid fan of Korean dramas. Minsan nakakasanayan ko nang panaorin ito. I hate reading subtitles, nakakahilo sa bilis nito ang paglilipat nito.

It's been twelve minutes since Thorn disappeared. I went out again to see him and still didn't find him with the boys in the garden.

I went to the front yard to check his car. Nandito naman ang kotsye niya where would he go?

My forehead creased when I heard murmuring not far away. Galing ito sa labas ng gate. Nakita ko ang konting awang ng gate kaya medyo naririnig ko ang kanilang tinig.

I slowly walk towards the gate with my forehead creased. Ako'y ganap na nagulat ng makita si, Samantha.

They're arguing. Thorn looks so pissed at her while pushing her hand away.

"Samantha, I'm marrying, Dalhia..."

"No, no, no...Thorn. Please don't do this." She pleaded desperately and tried to reach Thorn but he pushes her away, again.

"Sam!" Thorn said in a warning tone.

He tried to get close to Thorn and push herself to kiss him. Uminit ang ulo ko at lumabas ako sa gate at hinila ang buhok niya.

"Dalhia!" Sigaw ni Thorn at agad akong hinawakan sa bewang.

I let go of her hair and looked at her with fire in my eyes.

"When will you realize, that your story with him ended up a long time ago?! His my man now!"

Hinawi niya ang kanyang buhok at naluluha akong tinignan ng masama.

"Baby, I'm sorry. I'll take care of this...go inside, please... this is bad for our baby." Saad niya habang hinahaplos ang aking tyan.

Remembering our fetus child calmed my nerves down. Marahan akong tumanho ilang segundo ang lumipas. Kinalas niya ang kanyang kamay at inakay ako papasok sa loob.

"It ended because of you!"

Nagulat ako ng hinila ang aking buhok dahilan kong bakit ako bumagsak sa sahig. It was so sudden that I lost my balance, even Thorn was shocked to see me dragg down harshly. We didn't expect it to happen.

I screamed so loud when I saw blood gushing down my tighs. My tummy was aching so bad, I held it. Hinawakan ko ang aking hita na may dugo.

"T...Thorn our baby!" Iyak ko.

"Fucking hell!" Malutong niyang mura at binuhat ako.

"T-Thorn, I...I didn't k-know..." Sam said with a shaky voice.

"You'll pay for this!" He growled like a mad man at dinala ako sa kotsye niya.

"Thorn...our baby..." Iyak ko.

His bloodshot eyes drifted on me.

"Nothings gonna happen to the both of you... You're going to be alright." He said the worry was laced in his voice and he lay me down in the backseat.

Lumabas sila mommy, dad, lolo, tita, and Tito.

"What happened?" Tarantang saad ni mommy.

Hindi siya sinagot ni Thorn at tumakbo patungo sa driver seat. He started the engine and honk ten times to open our gate. Agad niyang pinaharurot ang kotsye ng makalabas ng bahay.

My vision starts to get blurry until I passed out.

I woke up and the white ceiling welcomed my sight. Inikot ko ang aking paningin. Mom was peeling the apple while Thorn was talking to the doctor. His board back was facing me.

"Miss Dalhia, how are you feeling?" The doctor noticed me.

Umikot si Thorn at agad akong dinaluhan. He stand up beside my bed.

"I'm okay, doc." Saad ko. "What about my baby, is she okay?"

Tumango ang doctor. I release a relief sighed. Pumikit ako at dumilat rin kaagad. I looked at Thorn and saw emotions written in his eyes. He touches my cheek lightly. The relief and tired, happiness was all mix in his eyes.

"You always have to be extra careful, ngayon mommy, Your pregnancy is very sensitive, luckily miracle came and we saved your baby earlier." Saad ng babaeng doctora. ". I will advise you to do bed rest most of the time. And no sexual intercourse for the meantime. I will give you the go signal kong pwede na..." Hinarap niya si Thorn. "...kaya daddy hintay hintay mona wag pilitin si mommy..."

Namula ako sa sinabi ni Doc. I looked away and stared at nowhere. While the brute was this gooky smiled plastered on his face.

"I have to go I have few more rounds to do, so..."

Ngumuso ako. Ng lumabas na ang ang doctora dumalo sa akin si mommy.

"Do you want something to eat? Anong gusto mo?" Saad ni mommy.

Umiling lang ako.

"I'll buy you lunch. What do you want?" Tanong ni Thorn.

"I'm not hungry." Saad ko.

"You have to eat, Dalhia, remember there's a little human inside your tummy." Mom said.

I pursed my lips.

"Can I have beefsteak... And strawberries."

Nilingon ko si Thorn.

Tumango siya. He kissed my forehead and whispered.

"I'll be right back"

Tumango ako.

"Si daddy My?"

Binigay niya sa akin ang mansanas.

"He's at home, with your lolo...they were being hysterical earlier I decided to throw them out. "

Binigay niya ang mansanas sa akin. Mom, turned the tv and connect to her netflix to watch her favorite drama.

Bumalik si Thorn dala ang pagkain. He place it on the table and prepared our food.

I stayed the night at the hospital that day the next two days I was discharged. He offered to let me stay in his penthouse. Mom agreed kaya doon kami tumungo. He wants me to stay in his abode to look after me he reasoned out to mom he want to look after me. He promise to leave work for two weeks.

I have bad pregnancy symptoms. I would wake up throwing up.

He was with me twenty four seven. Sometimes mom would visit. Aalis din pag ka gabi.

He placed his laptop on the table and gaze at me.

"You need something?" He asked.

Umiling ako at tumayo. Umopo ako sa kanyang tabi at sinandal ang baba sa kanyang balikat.

"The baby wants to feel his papa's warmth."

Pinalupot niya ang kanyang kamay sa aking balikat. Sumandal ako sa kanyang dibdib. I felt him kissed my head.

Pumukit ako at dinamandam ang kanyang init. I give me comfort and satisfaction every time he hugs me. My heart would beat calmly.

Napangiti ako. Loving the warmth of his body I scooted closer.
