"We will be present in each other's thoughts. Even if I can't feel it, I'll know." He whispered. His big, cold hands cupping my face.
It was time to grow up and leave behind the childhood kind of comfort only Vince could give me.
It was in his thoughts that I learned to find my place in the world, even if life was full of chaos.
But I needed to learn that even if I was moving on with my life, it didn't mean leaving him behind, but taking his memory and teachings with me.

It was my turn now to be the main character and I was finally ready to write my own story.
"Thank you." Was all I said before finally closing my eyes and feeling his lips touching my forehead, as a final goodbye.
When I opened my eyes again, Vincent Watts had already became a memory in a book left on my shelf.
