The prisoner jolts up as he hears the prison cell doors slowly open, making loud creaking noises. A dark, shadowy, umbral figure enters the room and stares down at the prisoner, gently letting the door close behind it. "I'll make this simple... The master isn't pleased with your disobedience," It spoke with a lofty, alluring voice. "I-I didn't mean to! Please, I was starving! I-I'll never steal a-again!" The prisoner frantically tried to compromise; The fear in his eyes shone with an overabundance. "It's far too late for that..." The shadowy figure slowly cackles before placing his hands onto the prisoner's forehead. "I think... I'll break you this time.. and leave you to kill youself," The ebony figure grins, breathing life into the tension. "W-What are you d-doing to me, I— ?!" The prisoner sucked in a breath, freezed by the vision he couldn't believe he was seeing. The cell transformed into his home: His children were laughing and playing throughout the house, and his wife was cooking her iconic, steamed vegetable soup she always makes. The prisoner shifts and walks into the kitchen, taking in the smell of his wife's delicious cooking. He walks over to her and tightly hugged her from behind, putting his worries to the corner of his mind. "I thought I lost you, Marionette..."Marionette slowly turns her head to him, revealing a deformed, rotting, and grotesque face. Her eyes are gaping holes of lifeless light; Her cheeks and skin resemble a scrapped, ragged cloth; Her lips devoid of any sign of structure. "You damned us all... How could you do that to the children..? To me?" "Mari!!" Her broken husband yells and falls onto his back, backwards-crawling away from the sight. "No... No..! T-This is a nightmare!" His children dropped the sense of playfulness and cheerfulness, walking up behind him. "Why did you do this to us, Daddy..? Why? You killed us..." Both of them say in unison, twisting their sweet voices with words of horror. The inmate gasps and frantically looks over his shoulder, quickly changing his route. He rushed to the right, regrettably backing himself in a corner. "No, no! A-Anna, Mike! My— My sweet children...!" He presses his back up against the stiff wall, staring at his disaster-filled halcyon in heartbroken terror. The mother leaves her position and goes to her children. The three simultaneously turn to the male, walking closer and closer to him. "You damned us... You damned us!" They all shouted at once, significantly jolting the pressures in the room. "Y-You aren't my family! Stay away from me!!" The inmate desperately cries out, trying to knock any amounts of sense into the ones he loved. Envisioning a way out, he strugglingly braced against the wall, using it to stand up. He ran past the three and went out the door, but all he could do was stay in his frozen position, watching his hallucinatory self run away with his idealistic, made-up future. The three family members suddenly grabbed onto him, snapping him back to his unwanted, cruel vision. The shadowy figure drops its hand and lets go of the prisoner, tossing a blade down beside him. "I did say I was going to let you kill yourself," The figure cackles in delight, staring into the prisoner's glazed eyes, letting the desolate man continue the wicked hallucination. The rotting mother lifts her cooking knife to the prisoner and stabs into his side, causing blood to splatter on the kitchen floor. The male gasps and feels his throat tighten up, confiscating his ability to breathe. Tears stream down his face, inundated with melancholic despondency. The umbral figure delicately opens the cell door, going out of the prison room. It shut the door behind itself, leaving the prisoner who stabbed himself to his death. "Truly, one's mind is their greatest weapon... and their defeat."
