The Visit

You were in the streets of Liyue and had just finished your food from the Wan Min restaurant. You had a meeting to get to with Zhongli about a job he needed you to do.

"Hey comrade!" A familiar voice shouted.

"Oh! Hey Childe."

He looked at you with a slightly down smile

"What's wrong?" You asked confused.

"How many times do I have to say it. You 𝙘𝙖𝙣 call me Ajax yah' know."

"Oh, sorry, I just keep on forgetting. And I know you don't trust a lot of people with calling you that."

"I let you watch my wild little brother who snuck on a ship and some how survived all of Liyue to get to the city, also not including that he is one of the closest people to me."

"Ah hehe, I almost forgot about that."

"Come on, you still have that thing you have to talk to Zhongli about, right?"

"OH! I almost forgot because of you, you stupid ginger."

"HEY!"

You both run down the streets in a small chase, Childe ends up getting there first but you smacked him for making you late.

*Inside the funeral parlor*

You walk in and take in the memories from last you were here. The sleek glossy wood framing, the warm dim lights, and glaze lily incense.

"Zhongli?" You said as you you walked into his office, the door had been left open, just a small crack.

"Ah hello y/n I've been waiting, Ajax caused you trouble I presume?"

His deep inviting voice settled in your mind, his shirt was slightly unbuttoned and you could see his chest slightly.

"Y/n?"

You snapped out of your day dream and your face and ears turned red.

"Y-YES!?"

They both looked at you, Zhongli letting out a small chuckle and Ajax wheezing looking like he was gonna die.

After a few minutes of laughter Zhongli hushed the room and you began to talk to each other about that job he needed you to do. Welllllllll, that job was actually a few others.

"I need you to go to some shops in town and pick up these items, I also need you to fight a few monsters and gather this amount of things from it, lastly you and Ajax must head to quince village and pick up some coffins I ordered."

"A-all of that?!"

"You are welcome to have Ajax help you if you want just know that there is a surprise at the end once you complete these tasks."

Your mind went to work thinking of thing the surprise may be but you decide to grab Childe and say bye to Zhongli. You wanted to complete these tasks already as your golden retriever brain wanted to know now.

Started out on your journey you began to finish things one by one with Ajax by your side.
