"So how was your day at Bonten, Koko?"
you asked looking at the male who just sat down.
"The usual, Rindou and Sanzu always fighting and Kakucho and Ran would always stop the two," he says as he takes off the gloves that he was wearing. "So how about Mikey?" you asked.
"The usual too, always discussing with Takeomi on what our next move will be." you nodded as a response and looked out of the window. You haven't seen your brother, Mikey, in over 2 or 3 years. But you know what he was up to thanks to Koko or the other Bonten members. You looked back at him and smiled holding his cheeks.
"Do you still see Akane in me, Koko?" you said softly, trying to not make your voice crack. He only went silent as you smiled letting go.
"I understand. So what am I then? Am I like Inui too? Is there no place for me ther-" you were cut off by a slap as you smiled, holding your cheek. Koko came back to his senses as he tried to hold your hand but you slapped it away.
"Y-Y/n I'm sorry I didn't mean to do it,"
he said as you looked at him smiling.
"It's fine Koko, it was my fault,"
you said as tears wanted to fall down your cheeks.
"Y/n ple-"
"I SAID IT'S FINE NOW LEAVE!" You cut him off by yelling as your voice started to crack. Koko flinched as you never yelled at him before. He got up and left the apartment to give you some space. You were left there, crying silently. You looked at the window and smiled.
"This is right."
you wanted Koko to break up with you for a certain reason, not because he sees you as Akane, but you were hiding your sickness from him. You never wanted him to know about it. You wanted to die alone, not wanting anyone of them to know, even Mikey.
You already told Mitsuya, Takemitchy, and Draken about it so they will be the ones burying you. You called Draken saying it's time for you to be at the hospital. He told you he'll be there as you smiled. Neither of them was ready, ready for the fact that you were dying, slowly. Without anyone knowing but them.
"Hi y/n." Draken said as Takemitchy was behind him. You looked at the two blondes, you smiled at them but they could see only pain in your eyes. Takemitchy hugged you as you smiled hugging the blonde back.
"You know tomorrow's the day right?"
You said as they nodded.
"Mitsuya-kun already prepared the dress you're going to wear." Takemitchy says as you smiled.
"Thank you to the three of you." At this rate, Draken was silently crying as Takemitchy hugged you tightly. The three of you were the closes of friends, the three treated you like their own sister ever since Mikey left. And you treated them like they were your big brothers, even though you're the oldest among them.
"C'mon, Mitsuya's waiting at his shop."
Draken says, slowly calming down. You nodded and got up as the three of you exited your small apartment.
"So you're not going to tell Mikey-kun or Koko or anyone at Bonten about this? I mean they would be hurt too." Takemitchy asked. You just looked at the sky and smiled at them. "It's better this way... Mikey has his own life now, and maybe, Mikey doesn't want me around anymore, after all, I'm just his adopted sister." The two blondes, obviously know how hurt you were. Since the day you know you were adopted, Mikey seemed to not care for you anymore. You hopped in Takemitchy's car as Draken sat on the back seat while you were in the front. He drove towards Mitsuya's place where he was waiting with y/n's dress.
Meanwhile, Koko was at the hideout just spacing out.
"Hey, Koko what happened to you?" Ran asked as Koko snapped back.
"Nothing." There was one thing that the three of them didn't know, Ran also knows about his sickness, and he also knows tomorrow is y/n's due date. He sighed at Koko and got up.
"You better not regret it,"
he says and left. Koko looked at him confused but shrugged it off.
The next day, Y/n died on her deathbed at 6:00 am. And as they planned, they held a funeral for y/n. He was surrounded by her favorite flowers and the only people that were there was only Takemitchy, Inui, Mitsuya, Draken, Ran, and Naoto. They never told anyone who knew y/n that she died. And what they anticipated, she was still lovely even though she was dead.
"You didn't tell them?" Draken asked Ran. The male nodded as he let out a soft sigh.
"I did promise to her I wouldn't tell anyone, even my brother."
2 weeks passed as Koko never heard from her girlfriend. He decided to go and visit her as Ran stopped him.
"Hey, what's your deal Ran?" Koko said as Ran looked at him angrily. He knew what he did to y/n the day before she died as he punched him.
The others were shocked as Koko flew across the room.
"You fucking asshole, why did you hurt y/n!" he yelled, luckily for them Mikey and Takeomi were out. Koko wiped off his blood from his mouth as he groaned.
"I never meant to do it!"
"Never meant it?! You fucker, you were only using her! Just because she resembles Akane?! You used her like you used Inui before! Just because they resembled your fucking crush!?" This time Ran was crying, as Koko looked at him confused.
"She fucking loved you! She chose you! But what did you repay her huh?! Didn't you repay her with pain?! And now... NOW SHE'S DEAD KOKO! SHE'S DIED WITH PAIN, SHE DIDN'T MIND THAT YOU WERE USING HER BUT SHE WAS DESPERATE FOR YOUR LOVE, NOT YOU LOVING HER AS AKANE BUT YOU LOVING HER AS HER!" The others looked at the crying male in shock. "Y/n died?! Since when?!" Sanzu asked.
"2 weeks ago. She told me not to tell you guys... So you guys can move on and forget about her." Ran said, slowly calming down as he looked at Koko.
"I was wrong for giving up on her." The male said and left. Rindou followed him as Koko stood there not minding that tears were already falling from his eyes. Ran called Mikey telling him where Y/n's grave was.
"Hey y/n. Sorry, I just got here, you're probably mad at me cause I drifted so far away, right?"
Mikey says as he placed her favorite flowers down.
"Why didn't you tell me that you were dying? I should have been there when you needed me but how can I if you didn't tell me... But I understand. It was my fault, right? That you felt like I was not giving damn care about you anymore? Y/n I do care, even after all these years I still do, but it's late now right? I was late to tell you how much you mean to me... I'm sorry."
Koko was next to Mikey, crying silently as Mikey smiled. "I'm sorry if I wasn't the best big brother for you," he says getting up and patting Koko's shoulder, then leaving them be alone.
"Hey, Y/n. Do you still remember when we talked about reincarnation? Well, how about in our next life, we'll find each other and this time, I will love you for being you, not as Akane this time but you."
