"Yo! Awake now?"

Third Person POV

"What are you trying to do..? WHERE ARE WE?!" Kazuki yelled.

"What am I trying to do? You ran away, and hid. So we went to find you... The both of you- Blue Butterfly." She announced.

There it was. The trigger. Kazuki paused, suddenly remembering why the girl with blue hair seemed so familiar to him.

FLASHBACK

Kazuki had just been tossed onto a ship. He had previously been beaten, as he tried to escape multiple times on the trip there. While he was being pushed around, loud shouting erupted from the ship.

"GET HER! SHE'S ESCAPING!" He heard.

Out of nowhere, a figure ran past him so fast, he couldn't even see her clearly. But, he knew she had blue hair. And she was skilled enough to escape from the hell hole that he soon had to endure.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

It was the girl he had seen on the same ship, three years ago. He was only 12 then. But he looked up to the person that escaped.

"You got to have your fun, but now you two can get back to work, right?"

She then took her steps closer and closer to the bed.

"Yoo-hoo Miss with the apple red hair right? Do you understand the situation right now?" Umihebi began.

"DON'T. go near her." Akari hissed.

"Hmm.. you haven't- you haven't gone soft, right? Blue butterfly." The elder female made her way over to Akari, swiping her hood off.

"Why hide that beautiful hair of yours? You know that's my favorite part about you..." She smirked devilishly.

Why didn't Akari do anything, you ask?

Hell, she was petrified right now. She was trying her very hardest, to keep her unfazed facade, for the sake of Shirayuki. But Umihebi's words struck her. Had she gone soft? But, even if she did... It wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Right? Zen, Kiki, Mitsuhide, everyone, all seemed to like her better like that.

But was it wrong of her? Should she have not opened up?

If anyone could persuade Akari she was making the wrong decision- It was Umihebi.

Akari built up so much fear against her over the years. I mean, could you really blame her? After all those beatings, verbal harassment, forced labor. She felt like a puppy under Umihebi's dark gaze.

"Don't touch or talk to any of us. It's disgusting enough that I'm in the same room as you." Akari spoke.

"Oh, but we've been following pretty boy here for a while. It'll be fun to see how badly they want miss red head. You should know, after all you're friends with the old man." Uhebi turned to Kazuki.

" If you keep talking I feel like I'll suffocate with your nasty breath blowing in my face. What? Have you been eating too much fish? I mean, I wouldn't be surprised. After all these years, you're still living on this old boat?" Akari spat.

*SMACK*

Akari tumbled onto the floor. The giant red mark, and intense stinging was enough to trigger the blue haired girl.

"HOW DARE YOU-"

"Shut up! You old pirate! Remember. On land you're nothing-"

Before the young blonde boy could finish his sentence, he too, was knocked onto the floor.

"It truly hurts me to be hurting the both of you. Your beautiful features are going to be bruised. Umihebi cooed.
