The sound of gunfire and missiles was deafening, the war was still going on, the torture and slavery were still going on. The bodies were in the mud, it was raining and people were scared.
He saw his mother, father, and his younger sister taken from him cruelly.
His mother stood there, still smiling, but she was depressed, he could clearly see the pain etched into her eyes.
"Du kannst es schaffen......" His mother said, nodding at him.
"Mama...."
Erik went back to his worst situation, he couldn't do anything, he knew what would happen, the gun would be fired at his mother if he didn't move the Coin.
Erik had to change it, he had to be able to.
But he was still just as helpless, useless, and weak, the coin wouldn't move, while the bastard in front of him kept counting the remaining time.
Why does all this have to be repeated?
Nothing had changed, his mother was still dead, Erik couldn't change it.
Destiny didn't go the way he wanted it to.
Over and over again it kept happening, he was in a cycle of nightmares that tortured him, kept seeing his family being snatched away and he couldn't do anything about it.
"PAPA!!"
Erik heard Anya's screams––his daughter, he ran, looked for the voice, looked for his daughter.
"ANYA!!" Erik shouted.
The fire was everywhere, smoke billowed in the air, the house was destroyed, to rubble with black stains and small sparks.
"Papa...."
Erik turned. His little daughter, standing with a small doll in her hand, looked at Erik with a bright smile.
Erik crouched down in front of her, pulling that little girl into his arms. Erik was crying, he missed her, he missed those little hands wrapped around his neck.
The little girl slowly pulled herself up, crying in pain.
Erik's breath caught in his throat when he saw his baby girl covered in burns all over her body.
"My baby..." Erik shattered, his world instantly turned into hell.
Anya fell into his arms, crying in pain, begging Erik to take her pain and Erik wished he could.
Erik hugged her tightly. Crying with despair, his tears fell, it felt like the ceiling had fallen for him.
The more Erik hold her, hugged her in his protection, Anya disappeared until only the dust remained which Erik was now hugging.
