It's hard sometimes - JJ outer banks

Strange feeling

It's the middle of the night and I wake up screaming. I just had another nightmare. It's almost always the same, but it still scares me.

Someone knocked on the door.

"Hey I heard you scream. Are you okay?" JJ comes in and sits on the bed

"Sorry I didn't want to wake you up. Yeah I'm fine, I always have the same nightmare. I'm used to it" I replied

"You don't look like you're used to it" He said worriedly

"No really it's okay, I'm fine. Thanks for checking me in, it was really sweet" I said looking him in the eyes making him blush a little

"Ok, if you say so, I'll go back to the couch. Good night and if you need anything just let me know" he winked at me and started to leave

"Wait..." I said causing him to stop and turn to look at me.
"Thank you again, really. Good night" I said. He smiles to me and leaves

Only at that moment I didn't know what I was feeling, it was like a strange feeling, but at the same time good.
I quickly went back to sleep.

It was already morning and John B came into my room to wake me up.
I was already dressed in white shorts, a blue shirt and a black bikini.

"Wow good morning sister" John B said to me

"Morning! How are you?" I asked

"Good! How did you sleep?" He asked me

"Like a princess" I said laughing as I left the room

When I left, I saw JJ lying on the couch. John B quickly hit JJ on the head causing him wake up

"Good morning princess, did you sleep well?" John B asked JJ while laughing

"Better if I wasn't alone" JJ said looking at me with a smirk

"Really?! You just woke up and you're already "looking" at my sister, like COME ON!" John B yelled as me and JJ laughed

"I'm just telling the true" JJ said teasing John B

"It wasn't a bad idea" I said looking at JJ while laughing

"NO! There's no way that this is gonna happen" John B said poiting to JJ and then to me. JJ and I just laughed.
"Okay, now let's go get some breakfast" John B said as he sat down at the table.

We all sat down and started eating. JJ was sitting next to me and John B in front of me.
While I ate, JJ placed his hand on my thigh squeezing it slowly. I look at him taking of his hand away, but he puts it back up making me blush.

"Why are you blushing Y/N?" JJ said teasing me

I didn't know what to say, but thanks to God, Kie and Pope entered the chateau.

"Morning guys!!" Kie said making JJ take his hand off my thigh, causing me to let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"Morning" We all replied

"What are we doing today?" Pope asked us

"I was thinking maybe we can surf. Wait Y/N you know how to surf right?" John B asked me

"Of course I know how to surf. What do you think I did when I was bored?" I replied smiling at him

"Well then, surf day?" JJ asked

"Yes!" Kie and John B yelled

"Sure" Pope said

"So... what are we waiting for? Let's go!" I said taking my surfboard and started running to the beach

Everyone grabbed their surfboards and started following me.
We all started surfing until we decided to take a break. We were in the water on our boards just talking.

"So Y/N do you have a boyfriend?" Kie asked me

"Oh yeah I would like to know" John B looks at me raising an eyebrow

"Relax John B, no I don't" I replied looking at Kie with a smile

"Good to know" JJ whispers so only I could hear

I rolled my eyes.
We went back to surfing until it starts to get dark. I decided to get out of the water. Soon after John B came out and sat beside me while Kie, Pope and JJ continued surfing.

"So, how did you know my name? How did you know I even existed?" I asked John B while looking out to sea

"Our dad always talked about you and our mom, I always wanted to meet you. But I guess our mom didn't talk about me, right?" He asked looking down

"Sorry" I said hugging him

"It's not your fault. I'm glad to meet you" He said looking out to sea. I laid my head on his shoulder until everyone was out of the water.
