Usa, 2010 -- when everyone was happy. At least I was, now everything's falling apart.
Fear and loud screams, mixed with the sound of the car's tiers turning sharply in the winding streets of Miami. One singular car speeding through the thin and curvy coast roads. The car stopped. Silence. Then, suddenly, the car accelerates. Faster and faster every turn it takes. A cliff is approaching. Sebastian doesn't seem to care. He's getting closer and closer. He won't stop. The thin wooden fences break. The water now is approaching... as well as darkness.

"So? Where are you taking us, Daniel?", snorted Felix, who was already tired of this little trip, which, actually, didn't even really start.
"We're going to Miami!! Party all night, no parents, no rules. Me, you and Rebby, all together?! We'll have fun a thousand percent.", announced Daniel, who, as the self-proclaimed driver, had the right to choose where they would've spend the next six long-ass weeks together.
"Oh, shut up Daniel", she said, giggling. Rebecca is Felix's older sister, who at the beginning wanted to spend some time alone with her boyfriend, but then their father convinced her into taking her not-so-beloved brother with them, so not to waste yet another summer being all alone in his room.
Sure, Felix has not so many friends, but his drawer is full of dreams. He wanted to become a professional swimmer when he was only 6, then abandoned at 11 to pursue his I-wanna-be-an-artist dream. But then, lastly, at 15 (yes, after all this time...) he found out he wasn't all that at drawing, so his father gifted him a beautiful vintage camera, which he immediately fell in love with.
Ever since, he just wouldn't get away from the camera. It was like a third eye, which helped him see through the just normal view of the world.
"Anyways... we still have to be careful with Felix, y'know - Rebecca continued - All he has to do is give us some privacy once in a while", still giggling.
Felix nodded, rolling his eyes.
"Come on Rebby, don't be so harsh. He'll find a girl to spend some time with too. Right, heartbreaker?", said Daniel, winking at him from the rear-view mirror.
"Or... maybe a guy - he continued, then interrupted by his girlfriend, who nudged him - Ouch!"
"Shut up! Turn the volume up", she said, as if that comment bothered her.
'Teenage dream' was resounding in the car's speakers. Daniel and Rebby were signing loudly like babies at a birthday party. Felix, amused, reached out his hand to catch the camera on the back of the car, taking a pictuer of the two lovers. The first picture of this long journey.
Along the road, they had to stop a billion times, mostly because Daniel drank a couple of beers before leaving. Florida's service stations were disgusting. The stink was so nasty, both Felix and Daniel had to hold their noses to refill the car. Rebecca instead pretended not to smell it to seem badass in front of her boyfriend, but failed miserably because the car they were travelling in was a convertible car, and the stench ended up filling her nostrils anyways.
The rest of the trip seemed pleasant, in some ways. However, Felix still hadn't got the chance to capture anything yet, being the streets as empty as the ones in The Walking Dead.
So, after three long hours, the group finally reached Daniel's parents' house, where they would live for the whole summer, almost.
"Wow, am I happy there are NO parents in this house!", screamed Daniel, like it was a long awaited achievement.
"Oh, we know you are, my love", she said while kissing him on the cheek.
Felix wasn't listening. He was busy watching that stunning mansion. His parents should be rich, he thought, to afford all this luxury. A giant villa in the center of Miami, with huge rooms and wide stairways. The following floor, indeed, was as brilliant as the previous, and even more majestic, with lavander-flavored bedrooms and corridors adorned with vases made of pure ceramic, worked by agile hands.
"I didn't know you parents where rich!", said Rebecca, containing herself from screaming of pure joy. She threw herself on one of the guest rooms' bed. Felix put pressure with his open hand on the bed. So soft that it would adhere to the shape of his body in no time.
"And these beds are amazing, Daniel", added Felix.
"Sure they are!", she grinned, giving his boyfriend a seductive glance with her deep black eyes.
"Eh eh, thanks...", he replied. Yet, he seemed distracted, almost confused. Like he was seeing those things and touching them for the first time, just like Felix and Rebby. However, Daniel has always been like this.
He first introduced himself as the humble guy who had worked his entire life and earned every signle penny with hard work and passion, precisely. He works as a barista in a night club, and he never spoke to Rebby about his past, but she really didn't seem to care. She could have free drinks everytime she wanted, and her friends worshipped her like a goddess. Felix liked him, not only because he was a cute... ehm, a nice guy, but mostly because he could see that Daniel really liked his sister, and treated her in the best ways possible, even though she never thanked him or did the same to him. All those "my love" from her looked almost fake, because they didn't tell each other "I love you", yet. But he didn't care, and at least he really did love her.
"So? Which room will be mine?", asked Felix.
"It's literally the second time you start a sentence with So?", said Rebecca, leaning towards him with her hands opened like a hook, probably to pull his hair.
"So?", he responded, with a grin.
"Okay, now shut up", she said, trying to jump on him. Daniel luckly blocked her and pulled her aside.
"Calm down y'all... - he said, almost laughing - me and Rebby will stay in this room. Meanwhile, you, Felix, will be in the last room at the end of the corridor...", Rebecca gave him that annoying look again. He replied with a wink. Ew.
"Well... thank you", he said, leaving them alone, hugging on the bed.
Wrapped in the hottest sun's rays of June, the bedroom was brilliant, in every way. A candid double bad waited for Felix to jump on him and touch its soft mattress and smell its scented covers. The walls left room for large windows that overlooked the long course of palm trees.
He put his stuff in the closet and left the house to visit the city, hopefully taking some unique pictures.
"I'M GOING OUT!!!", Felix said, trying not to disturb the two lovers. However, they didn't bother listening to him.
