"What the hell happened here?" Hyojin questioned as he picked up random textile rolls from the floor, eyes roaming around the room to find the whole division in absolute chaos. The array of colors could maybe be considered pretty if not for the form it was presented in, a mess of textiles, drawing sheets, crayons, glitter and all kinds of imaginable accessories.
To dismiss whatever thought Hyojin was starting to develop about the place being void of human presence, orange hair became visible as Lee Changyun got up from the floor, shooting the younger a simultaneously embarrassed and annoyed look. "First of all, it's the price of creativity." He opened his arms and turned on his two feet as if to highlight the room around him. Hyojin cringed.
"Whatever you say. I came here to check on your progress for this next wedding but I can see that you're busy."
The eldest picked up his sketchbook from the top of a nearby shelf and turned to a random page, showing it to the other boy in the room. "I'm making the last sketches so I should finish all the decor soon."
Hyojin nodded, apparently satisfied by the other's progress. "I just got a call from the groom and the couple should arrive by tomorrow afternoon. With them will arrive the best man and the bridesmaids. The remaining guests will arrive on saturday, the day of the ceremony."
"I'll be done by tomorrow at the latest, which gives us almost two days to prepare what's left of the venue."
"Which is more than we need. Perfect. I'll go check on Jaeyoung."
And with that Hyojin left the atelier, leaving behind a hurricane of colors and a busy Changyun before stepping foot into an alluring garden.
The grass was vividly green and flowers bloomed beautifully all around. It was one of their customers favorite features, their lovely extended gardens that flowed all around the venue. Furthermore, hidden inside the garden was a greenhouse, a place where flowers and plants worked in harmony with the help of their care-taker, Shim Jaeyoung.
Jaeyoung was what could be called a wedding florist, something that was included in their company's wedding services, a part he proudly played. He was highly educated in order to flawlessly conduct his job, making sure there were no such things as allergies or withering flowers. He was more than that, however, being responsible for all the greenery around them. The greenhouse wasn't big per-se, only big enough to hold Jaeyoung's projects. He didn't grow all the flowers needed for the weddings, such a thing was near impossible, but he conducted all the arrangements and all the surrounding tasks inside the space.
He was just finishing a phone-call when Hyojin knocked on the greenhouse's door, asking for permission to enter the space, a contrast to the elder's earlier abrupt invasion to Changyun's workspace. He signaled for the other to come in, hanging up the phone as he did.
"Hyojin, glad you came! I just got off the phone with the supplier." He spoke, body leaning against the big counter in the middle of the room, relaxation evident in him as he did so, a striking contrast to the person Hyojin had just left in a frenzy of textiles.
"And what's the verdict, can we get them delivered on friday?"
Jaeyoung nodded, "They'll be able to deliver them in the afternoon."
Hyojin's eyebrows creased as he scribbled the information on his notepad, looking up at his friend once he was done. "Will you be able to have them ready in such a tight schedule then?"
"Yes, don't worry. If I put in some extra hours I'm sure I'll be able to."
The elder wasn't satisfied with the answer but let it go, a dissatisfied but fond smile making its way to his face. "You can always ask Seungjun for help."
