23. Fights

When Akira looked to the right, she saw a gray and a blue eye.
Left, she stared into two robin red eyes.

When the two boys realized that they both wanted Akira on their team, they started killing each other with their looks.

Unnoticed by the two of them, Akira snucked away and looked for team partners.
Mai and Shinso were unfortunately already in a team.

She just grabbed Tenya and Momo and ran with them to Todoroki and Bakugo, who was still arguing.

"Fuck off Bakugo" said Akira.
Apparently no one had ever heard the girl swear because they reacted with surprised looks.

"Half, I'll join your team, Momo and Tenya are also there."
Shoto nodded and they discussed a tactic.

Bakugo, meanwhile, was obviously in a very bad mood.

Team Todoroki got ready, Shoto was the rider.
Akira's quirk was useless here, her physical ability was important to survive this game.

Midnight announced the start of the fight and they were right in the middle of it. Akira maneuvered the team out of the fray.

"Tenya, never stand still! Momo, we need ice skates! Todoroki, ice!" Gave Akira orders that she might as well have been a rider.

So they slid across the field faster than the others.
Bakugo came dangerously close because of its explosions. Luckily shoto was able to fend him off.

As a result of the attack, the team had to slow down for better or worse and were now surrounded.

"SHIT WHAT NOW ?!" Todoroki screamed, almost in panic.

"We need an ice rink upstairs, Tenya give it your all! Momo, let's try to support her as much as possible. Do you have the opportunity to steal points, do it!"
Only a few seconds after she said that, Akira and her team were higher up than the others.

Two teams ran towards them.
How did they get up here?

Oh whatever.

Akira tensed and got ready to fight.
However, there was no fight:
"TIME IS UP! Team Todoroki has won!" Izuku's voice came over the speakers.

Akira let out a relieved breath. The winners went to the waiting room. Looking forward to the 1v1 fights.

"Hey Akira! I just wanted to tell you, you really saved the team's ass. I hope to see you in the fight ring." Momo said when the spy had just sat down on a bench.

The cat girl grinned. "Maybe we will see each other in the fight ring. Only that you have to leave it again quickly. I will fight seriously today. I want to win and I will!"

"O..okay" Momo backed away a bit, not knowing how to react.

The break games began and only a few classmates were sitting in the room.

Akira's phone rang
'Burned chicken nugget'
The villain took it with a grin. Without her noticing, everyone tried to overhear the conversation.

"Heyyyy how go-"
She got no further. The LoV cheered loudly in the background.
Akira started laughing heartily.

"Guys, it's nice to hear you too. Wish me luck."
Everyone chatted and occasionally one heard 'good luck'
"Oh one more thing, you still have a minor among you, that means not too much alcohol!" She added sternly.

Akira didn't get an answer. All for One had switched to her phone. Akira set up the phone so that her father could see her. The spy grabbed her headphones so they could talk undisturbed.

"Heyyyyyyyy" the girl laughed happily.

"I just wanted to say how proud I am. You will win, I believe in it. I trained you well. Show all of Japan whose daughter you are!" He said in his usual deep voice.

Akira nodded at the camera and waved smiling. Then she ended the call and rested her head on the hard tabletop.

Tears welled up in her blue eyes. At some point she couldn't hold it back any longer.
The villain missed the League so much. They were family to the girl.
"Hey, are you okay?" Todoroki asked monotonously.

Akira jerked her head up and wiped her tears away, then smiled.

"Yes...?" It was more of a question than an answer.

Todoroki sighed and sat down next to his classmate.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Asked he.

Her head sank against her classmate's shoulder as she started talking.
"There are these people, they have done so much for me, I have to win for them. I just have to!"
Akira started crying again. But this time it wasn't real tears.

Todoroki seemed hesitant to answer.
"Everyone wants to win here. The best will do it. You are one of the best. You will do it."

She nodded gratefully and was about to say something when the present Mic interrupted the student.
"The first battle is about to begin. Please take your seats. The first fight will be fought between Hitoshi Shinso from the General Department and Akira Braun from the Hero course. "

Akira immediately left the room and waited for the announcement that the fight was about to begin.

"Midoriya, I guess I don't need to ask who will win it? You firmly believe that Akira will win."
Present Mic asked to shorten the waiting time.

"Oh yes, yes. Shinso is very strong. But he just has too little experience. If he were in the hero course and his support equipment was adjusted, he would be a dangerous opponent."

Izuku said he was dangerous? Either because he  really was or and most likely, he wanted to say something.

Akira couldn't think about it for long, because they were now face to face.

"BEGIN!" Mic yelled with delight

"So you're the 1-A's greatest hope?"
Asked the hairy Lilia calmly.

"Righ-" the moment she answered him, Akira had lost control of her body.

"What is that ?! Is Akira already unable to move?" Present Mic asked.

With full concentration, she closed her eyes. If that was difficult, how was she going to win?

When she closed her eyes, she activated her fire quirk, she felt the burning in her veins. Akira knew her eyes were red and she wanted to avoid asking questions, so she kept her eyes closed.

Shinso gave the girl an order. She didn't hear him. Her focus was only on her flames. They kept spreading and spreading. The flames filled the girl with energy. So she managed to get out of the brainwashing.

Shinso seemed confused. Akira didn't know if it was safe to open her eyes again, so she played it safe and relied on her cats senses.

Where was your opponent?
What are his feelings?
How does he move?
What will he do next?

With eyes still closed, the Experienced Villain ran towards her opponent, pulled his legs away from under his body and left him unable to move.

"Akira Braun has won!" Announced Midnight.
The girl let go of the boy and waved to the audience. She had opened her eyes again in the meantime. They shone a beautiful blue again.

Akira smiled and ran into a quiet room, but what she had expected there made her flinch slightly in shock.
