24. Todoroki

"SURPRISE!" A blonde girl screamed and jumped towards her friend. After the initial shock, Akira hugged toga.

"You scared me." Akira laughed as she hit the blonde lightly on the head.

She just laughed and finally broke the hug.
Then she went back to the purple portal in the corner.

"Come on, we still have time." She pointed to the portal.
Akira nodded and stepped through with her friend.

The two landed in front of the entrance to the bar.
"We have a few new ones. Shiga said if you'd like you are allowed to scare them ~" Toga said, in an enticing tone.

An evil grin crept onto Akira's lips. She undid her hair, it came down to her waist. Akira's eyes turned red from the activation of the flames.

Toga opened the door, all pairs of eyes fixed on her. Akira's ears and tail caught fire, her wings formed, as did her horns. All of this could only be seen for a few seconds.

When Akira was standing in the bar, she kept up the drama, the shy Neko.
The villain had to pull herself together not to laugh out loud. The looks from the men at the bar were priceless.

"Ah, Miss Shigaraki. Very clean performance at the festival. I'm sure you will win the festival." Korugiri said and motioned the villain to sit down at the counter.

"Sh ... Shigaraki ..?" Asked a man in a mask. He looked kind of like a magician.

"Before anyone asks, yes, I'm related to crusty. Who are you newbies?" Akira asked, dropping her act. She tried to appear as calm as possible, it was hard not to laugh for her.

"I'm Mr. Compress. I'm very pleased, Madame." Introduced Compress himself.

Akira drank a swipe, at the taste of the stronger alcohol, she winced slightly.

"Kuro! You know we're being tested for alcohol and drugs don't you?" Akira growled at the bartender.

He just laughed slightly, took the drink away and put a monster on the counter. Thankfully, she accepted the drink and enjoyed the taste of the energy drink.

"AKI !!!" A rough voice called from above. Immediately the addressed jumped up and ran towards the door. From this her older brother came out and gave her a big hug.

The two stared into each other's red eyes. It felt like all of their worries were falling away. The older brother's eyes were full of worry. They scanned everyone in the room, ready to kill anyone who thought wrongly of his sister.

Shigaraki sat in his familiar seat. Akira sat provocatively on his lap and teased him with her cat abilities.
Half of the league watched the sports festival, the others had conversations with the siblings.

"The next fight is imminent, we ask our participants to get ready. We would ask our guests to take their places again." You could hear Izuku's, slightly distorted voice from the television. Akira got up immediately.

Kurogiri opened a portal through which the spy returned to the room in which she had been previously.

Akira hadn't watched the other fights. The conversations with the League were much more interesting.

So she stepped into the ring unprepared. Her opponent was Shoto Todoroki.
Quirk: Half cold, half hot.

"Here our top students of the 1-A. Shoto Todoroki and Akira Braun. Both very promising. Who will now emerge as the winner?" Mic really always managed to create a certain atmosphere.
"BEGIN!" Shouted Midnight.

Akira immediately jumped off. Todoroki immediately attacked her with his ice. The villain just slid towards him and tried to hit him.

She had expected him to evade, but this wasn't the case and Akira landed a clean hit in his face.

With a leap backwards she got herself into a good position and began to speak:
"You rely too much on your Quirk. Didn't you say you want to win? The only thing you can do is ice. How do you want to defeat me with that ?! USE YOUR POWER TODOROKI!" Akira hadn't noticed how loud she was. Still, she doubted it could have been heard.

Shoto stumbled back a step. He seemed to be pondering the words. Then unexpectedly flames formed around his left side.

"Wow, it's amazing." Akira breathed in awe.
"My father offered you something, didn't he? It doesn't matter now! It's my strength. I'll win it no matter what!"
Todoroki growled and straightened up.

Akira grinned slightly and ran towards him. Her knowledge of flames was of tremendous benefit here. So the girl was able to evade well. However, she didn't get close enough to make a good attack.

"You wanted me to give it my all ... DO IT TOO KITTY!" Shouted Todoroki, what automatically made Akira laugh.

"Never ..." she laughed, revealing her leopard characteristics. It was a strong form but still not the strongest.

It gave her a huge boost in speed. She was finally able to land a hit. Akira ran past her opponent, in the run she pulled her claws over her opponent's face. When he turned to look at her, the girl had already rammed him in the side and he was lying on the floor.

Without hesitation, Akira jumped on him and bit his shoulder. No matter how well Recovery Girl could heal, it would definitely leave some marks.

Akira's hand landed on the boy's throat and slowly squeezed it shut. He still had enough air to breathe and talk, but the longer he waited, the less air he would have. Akira wouldn't kill him, but at least he would faint, that was allowed.

"I... I... I give up!" Todoroki whispered, unintelligible.
Akira slacked off a bit.
"I GIVE UP." Todoroki screamed in panic.

"Shoto Todoroki gives up. Akira Braun has won!"
The winner let go of the loser and went to her classmates, to the spectator seats.

She sat in silence and looked at the floor. Once again, she were very little interested in the fighting. It didn't matter either way. Izuku would analyze all battles. Duplicate work was useless.

The fight with Iida was as fast as him, Akira just hit him unconscious.

Akira got back to her waiting room. Nobody had to see how she prepared.
The villain had prepared a very special surprise for Katsuki Bakugo. But if he lost the fight to Tokayami, things would be different again. However, she very much doubted that Katsuki would lose.

Just as she had thought that, she heard the announcement from the Present Mic that Bakugo would be in the final and would have to play against her.

"The grand finale of the 1st class. Katsuki our hot-blooded top student, against Akira Braun our little, clever kitten." Announced Mic.

Akira was in the ring, across from Bakugo. They stared into each other's eyes for a while. Hers blue, his red.
