The silence was broken by a scream.

"SNIPER!" The group leader of the orphans yelled and the 10 snipers, scattered in different buildings, reacted immediately.
Many of the students just fell to the ground. Others were just able to withdraw. Kririshima tried to protect everyone from the bullets as best he could.

Now the other 10 children out on the battlefield. With their knives and quirks they pounced on the few survivors and killed them. The heroes couldn't hurt children.

These young children were no longer children, they were mass murderers, well-behaved killer machines.

The leader of the group, a blond, quirkless boy, announced the elimination of the 3 classes.

Akira, Izuku and Katsuki sat together on the tallest building in the city and looked out at the chaos.

"Can you do it?" Akira asked and pointed to the 10 approaching figures.
They were the top heroes, with Mirio at their front.
Izuku and Katsuki nodded and got ready. On the way down, they called the Vanguard Action Squad, which immediately came to the specified location.

This was Izuku's fight. He attacked Mirio directly from the front, who parried the attack by letting the opponent's fist through. Izuku carried out more and more attacks, he did not give Mirio the chance to think or to carry out one against attack.

Izuku's fist penetrated the body of number one more and more often. At that moment it felt like a fight only between the two, which it was, because the others had already been defeated, Izuku still didn't know if there were losses on his side.

The younger man's face was filled with anger and lust for murder, everyone knew that Mirio would die from Izuku. But everyone also knew that as long as they didn't kill him, they could weaken Mirio.
That was exactly what Eri had set herself to do. She aimed at the hero's right leg. Her aim was merciless and the bullet found its target.

Mirio buckled, that was Izuku's chance, so he landed the first hit in this fight. Mirio was thrown aside, before he could straighten up, Izuku was already with him and stole his quirk, not One for All.

Now, it was turning into a fight for Izuku's liking. Mirio straightened up and struck, using only 20% of his strength.
A mistake. Izuku had a shock absorbing quirk, so he didn't mind the hit.

The enemies engaged in an open exchange of blows, the focus was only on their fight. After taking a few hits, Izuku decided it was time to get serious.
He activated a quirk called 'energy' and absorbed the energy of his surroundings. He gathered his strength in his arm, black, green flames and lightning formed around him. With a tremendous punch he threw Mirio into the nearest wall, and it didn't stop there. The greenhead continued to punch the already dead hero.

It was over. The Phoenix Mafia had won, but at what price?
They had lost their headquarters, several men and children. Most of the city was in ruins. What was now

Izuku had achieved his goal, complete control, then why wasn't he happy? Why did he regret it? What was what he really wanted?

"IZU!" Akira screamed, running towards her fiancé.
Akira bandaged her lips and kissed him intensely. Confused, the older one broke away when he noticed Akira crying bitterly.
Katsuki came to them too and Akira kissed him deeply.
She now put the boys on their posture, she had her ears firmly placed on her head, she stood there somewhat helpless and sunken.
"Aki wha-" Izuku was interrupted when Akira raised her hand towards the sky and took a few steps back.

"I love you, say Eri and Kota, that I love them. I'll do this for you. I'll wipe out quirks, the mafia will be bigger than ever before. There will be more jobs again, the world will get better." Akira laughed through her tears.
Without waiting for anything, Akira shot up a huge flame, the flames changed colors and Akira's veins too.

Izuku and Bakugo wanted to get to her, an invisible wall prevented it.
They panicked and tried to break through the wall, but there was no point. They had to watch as Akira scream in agony.

It started to rain, with every drop on the ground, the screams became lower.
With every drop, they tried less to fight fate.
With every drop, Izuku and Katsuki wondered what they were doing.
With every drop they forgot.
With every drop they became weak.
With every drop, their memories were manipulated.

Akira cried terribly.
"Goodbye." She laughed one last time before her body slowly turned to ashes.

Who was this woman? Everyone asked themselves. Then it was over. A bright light pushed the dark clouds away and it stopped raining.

Izuku looked around, confused, then memories came back. The Phoenix Mafia had launched a major attack and the police had tried to stop them, unsuccessfully. The mafia had won, wasn't it? Nobody knew.

Izuku let himself be supported by Bakugo, in the fight with an enemy, he had exhausted himself. He had emptied his entire magazine and finally won in the end.

"Let's go home." Said Izuku when his children came to them. It felt like this win wasn't real, like an important part was missing.

Izuku looked back at his past and remembered how they founded the Phoenix Mafia.

Bakugo and Izuku have always been best friends, when other students started bullying Izuku, Kacchan had always been there for him. Izuku has always been smaller and more delicate, that's why he hadn't made it to the U.A. The U.A was an elite school with different courses.
The A classes were strong and trained as bodyguards and special police units.
The B classes were trained to be dangerous undercover agents.
The C classes produced the best commissioners.
Then the support course, a technology course in which new things and equipment were constantly being invented.
Kacchan had made it to class A, not like Izuku, he had disappeared from the scene and taught himself everything. He founded a group called 'Phoenix Mafia' at first it was just him and Bakugo, but more and more came and a group in the underground grew.
They earned their money with extortion, robbery, contract killing, black market trade, drugs and gun trade.

The group quickly became known and feared. An attack on the U.A resulted in the loss of half the class, as many had turned out to be spies. The greatest commissioners of the time could not stop the mafia and died. Many shadows of the past were exposed and once again society realized
It wasn't all gold that shone.

Bakugo and Izuku had been together since the blonde had switched to the U.A. They were engaged in the meantime.

All the memories floated through Izuku's head, something was missing, he just didn't know what.

Hand in hand with the love of his life, the green-haired man ran towards the bunker, their home.
Eri and Kota, their wonderful children and successors, close by.
They still had a lot to do, after all they had to run a Mafia and Japan.
They won, it was over. They had what they wanted and would never give up that power again.

Yes, they had won, just none of them knew how big the loss of this victory was.
