Dean and Sam sat in their motel room eating fast food burgers and sipping beer.

"So, what'd you find out from the tennant," Dean asked through a mouth full of food.

"She's known Mr. Galdwin for a few years. He was apparently like a second father to her. They were really close."

"Does she think he'd do this?"

"Not a chance. She said he'd never do anything like this to his kids. Said he'd been dealing with the loss of his wife a few years back, but he seemed to be doing really well recently."

"Great. What'd she say about the chick?"

Sam took a sip of his beer, "she said she'd seen a blonde girl in the lobby that week. Aparently she was looking for Mr. Galdwin."

"Anything seem off?"

"Yeah," Sam shifted his position, "Her gaze, quote, felt cold."

"What?"

"I don't know what it means, but it doesn't sound natural."

Dean ran his hands through his hair. "Great. More research."

Sam nodded. "What'd you find out about the mystery blonde?"

"Some guy at the bar I was in got jumped by a blonde chick. Sounded a little suspicious, so I asked some people outside the bar about the guy."

"What'd you find out?"

Dean inhaled sharply, "He's a regular, big city style drunkard. His 'walking about town' means moving from bar to bar. He's got such a dedication to being a barhop that people know his route. And based on the people I talked to, the bar he was leaving when he got jumped was just up the block from the appartment building where Jeremy Galdwin lived."

Sam raised an eyebrow, "that doesn't mean that it's the same girl though. What makes you so sure?"

"Because," Dean began, "the guy said the girl was covered in blood. And she had a bloodly knife."

"So it looks like our mystery woman's the same person, huh?"

Dean nodded. "You know what that means, right?"

"Yeah. We gotta find this chick."

Cold. Everything was ice cold. But at the same time, it was burning hot. It was like the climate couldn't decide wether to burn or freeze her to death. Everything hurt. Her arms. Her legs. Her face. Her eyes. Her chest. Everything. The stinging pain on her skin was unbearable. And her limbs... oh lord.... she'd never felt that much pain. She couldn't understand how she hadn't passed out already.

But she knew.

She wasn't alone in her body. No, she could feel someone else there. Everything was dark, but every once and a while she could see horrible scenes playing out in front of her. The sights were unforgettable. Horrid. Disgusting. But, even though it wasn't her will to do it, she knew it was her body performing the actions. But it wasn't her mind.

She would scream, but no words came out of her mouth. She would try to move, but her body refused. She would feel as if she was convulsing, shaking, hitting herself to stop the things she was doing. Nothing worked. And it was killing her inside. After the things she'd done, the things she knew her body had done, she only wanted one thing. She wanted this to be over.

She wanted to die.
