I told Johnny everything. About my depression, Jack harassing me, the makeout, the transfer students. I even told him about my connection with Shawn. He seemed to understand everything I said. He didn't judge or talk over me. He acted like a friend or more like a brother instead of the typical jealous ex boyfriend. That's what I loved about Johnny. After I was finished talking, Johnny offered to help me set up the party, since it was only 9PM and everyone wouldn't be here for another hour.
As we were setting up, we listened to music, danced, and just talked about anything that was on our minds. I always knew I should've stayed friends with Johnny but I thought i could've at least gave him a chance. After we finished setting up, I started to go upstairs, but Johnny stopped me.
"Where do you think you're going?" He asked seductively. I began to get uncomfortable so I tried to get out of his grip but he only held onto me tighter
"I'm going to go get ready." I said in a duh tone so that he wouldn't know I was scared for dear life.
"Do you wanna know why I came back?" He asked pulling me closer. I started to show fear and pull away as much as I could.
"Jack sent me, babe. He's my cousin. He beat me up because actually liking you wasn't apart of the plan. He wanted you to come back running to him, trying to be with him again so he could get in your pants. I tried to protect you, babe. You caused me so much pain. I was in the hospital for 6 fucking months because of you, you bitch. You're worthless. And I'm gonna show you how much your worth." He said getting louder and louder each sentence. By this time, I was on the floor, backing away from him with every chance I had.
He began to unbuckle his pants and walk towards me. My eyes widened because I knew what he was about to do. He grabbed me and dragged me up the stairs, anxious to explore my body.
"NO! JOHNNY STOP! YOU'RE HURTING ME!" I screamed. He started laughing and dragged me to my room. He shut the door and threw me onto the bed. Just as he started to take off my clothes, RJ opened the door at the perfect moment.
"Johnny?" She asked in confusion.
"Well, looks like we're having a threesome ladies." He said with a smirk on his face. Before he could grab RJ, I jumped out of the bed and ran after her. We ran down the hallway, into the bathroom. I quickly shut the door and locked it.
"Rose, Rose, I'm so sorry about earlier. I didn't know that's what he wanted."She apoligized. I just hugged her and told her everything was okay. Johnny started to bang on the door, yelling and cursing. I didn't realize I had my phone in my pocket the whole time. I quickly pulled it out and called Shawn. He answered after the 3rd ring.
"Hello?" He said.
"Shawn, I need you here now, please hurry." I screamed.
"I'm coming." He said and then hung up. I sighed in relief but realized that we were still stuck in the bathroom with Johnny on the outside for a while. RJ was sitting on the toilet bawling her eyes out. I really needed to do something and now. I started searching for something to defend us with. I started to hear the door break and I was scared shitless. I began to see parts of his body as he hit the door more and more. I only could do one thing. I grabbed a spray bottle and held onto as tight as I could. When Johnny's face became more clear, I sprayed the bottle in his face, causing him to stumble back.
"You crazy bitch!" He yelled.
I yanked the door open and puched him hard as I could each time until he reached the top of the stairs. I topped off my victory with a kick to the chest. He tumbled down all of the stairs and became unconscious with the last hit to the head. Just as I turned around to go get RJ, Shawn ran in the house, looking at Johnny, then looking up at me.
RJ came out of the bathroom to make sure I was okay, while Shawn pushed Johnny out on my front porch. I chuckled a little and reassured RJ I was fine. Shawn came up the stairs and stared into my eyes.
"You're the one." He said in disbelief. I looked at him in confusion.
"No." RJ added.
"She's the Chosen One."
