A starry night (some dabihawks fic idk)

A starry night

It was a quite night in the city

The streets were clear, the sky was bright

Nothing of what you would expect from a highly popular area

But thanks to the quietness of tonight, heros are also able to rest

They are able to take this time off and just breathe

Not having to worry for the worlds safety even if just for a moment

And like most heros, hawks is making the most of this quite night

"Come onnnn i wanna look at the starssss" hawks was flying around a ladder that kead to the roof of an old apartment building

"Y'know that if i get caught were done for yea?" dabi was currently climbing said ladder to the roof of an old apartment building

"No if we get caught, which we wont, then ill just fly us both out" they had finally reached the top of the roof were they had a great view of the stars that were on display tonight

"Pff as of you could fly both of us away. i might have to borrow your wings to make a quick escape" dabi replied as he lay down a picknic blancket that they had brought

"Oh shut up and look at the stars"

They both laid down and looked up

The stars did not disappoint

There were millions, billions of them all stuck in space for the pair to admire

"Hey look dabs, that star over there, i heard on the radio that some american scientist named it Icarus. neat huh?"

They were now laying down but slightly facing the right of the sky to look at the star hawks was trying to point to with his free hand

The hand that wasnt holding dabis

"Icarus? whats that?" dabi asked confused as he turned his head to look fully at hawks and not the sky

"Well..." hawks turned his head to look at dabi too while he told his story

"Its the name of a story character. in this story a boy named Icarus and his dad, Daedalus, wanted to get off this island. so the dad made them wings each a pair out of wax and feathers. the wings had been molded onto their backs so they could use them as if they had always been on their body. but when it was time to leave the island Daedalus told Icarus the rules of flight and that with the wings he couldnt fly to low to the ocean so that they would wet them or to high in the sky that the suns rays could melt them..."

Hawks turned his head back around to look at the stars

Dabi moved to hug him tucking his chin in the crook of hawks neck and rapping his leags around the others

Hawks continues with a small smile while playing with dabis soft black hair

"Icarus didnt listen to his father. when they left the island Icarus went stright up. he wasnt listening to his fathers warnings he was to happy to be ..... free. Icarus flew to high and the suns rays stared to melt his wings. he ended up falling into the sea and drowing because he flew too close to the sun. because it was too hot for him."

Dabi looked up at hawks as much as his postion allowed him too while he answered

"That was a nice story but Icarus seams like a lil bit of a dumbass"

Laughter rang out into the quiet night

"Bahaha. what do you mean? i mean honestly can you blame him? sure his dad warned him a ton but when he finally got a chance to leave the island and fly .... be free for fhe first time, its kinda understandable that he took it too far."
