Is Something wrong, Selena?" Emily said,

"I don't know. Is something wrong... Hailee" Selena raised a brow, as she crossed her arms over her chest. She saw the young girls body tense just a bit, before relaxing as Hailee took a breath.

"Seriously, it's been a couple of months. I'm-"

Hailee was cut off. "A great actress, I'll give you that. You've won many awards, so I wouldn't doubt you'd be able to perform such an amazing act" Selena laughed just thinking about the past two month with the girl. She swore in her mind she was just seeing things, or perhaps it was her jealousy, but Selena was finally seeing things clearly. "So why don't we cut the bullshit"

Hailee thought for a minute. Selena was smart, and even if she tried to defend herself, it would be useless. Selena had figured it out, but that wasn't what made her anxiety skyrocket. If she knew that detail about her, does that mean (y/n) did so too. After all the song they just sang not too long ago; The song was just too coincidental.

"There really is no fooling you, is there Gomez" Hailee chuckled, removing her glasses. Hailee was still a bit shocked, but ultimately figured she had no way around it. This was it; this was her pull underwater.

"No, I'll admit you had me fooled in the first half I'm not going to lie." Selena admitted. "But I'm not that stupid. Do you really think, Hailee Steinfeld would just show up out of the blue to help (y/n) with her performance when I couldn't make it? After all, it made sense: when 'Hailee' showed up, everything seemed to be going in different directions."

"I only did what I did to help (y/n), which is much more then you can say about you" Hailee gave a side smirk. "But I am impressed you were able to figure it out... I'm surprised the other haven't"

"Ariana has her doubts and Zendaya doesn't really seem to care about who you really are. As for (y/n)... She is a smart girl. Graduated valedictorian and attends one of the most prestigious universities in the State. But her judgment gets clouded when someone gives her any kind of love and kindness. Right now, she can't see Emily as Hailee because unlike Emily, Hailee is well... a bitch."

"You're happy that you caught me, but I don't think you should be" Hailee smiled.

"Oh, and why is that" Selena also mocked a smile. She wasn't going to let Hailee get under her skin.

"Well see, I'm not going to go down without a fight... and I never lose" As if on cue, Hailee's phone pinged, and a shit eating grinned now replaced her smile. Selena only raised a brow, taken back with how calm Hailee was. "For example, at least I didn't almost cost, (y/n) career before it even started" tossing the phone to the older girl, selena barely reacted in time. Narrowing her eyes, she kept her gaze onto Hailee just a few seconds more before looking down at the phone, where a clear video showed selena entering the building seconds after (y/n) had called her worryingly. "You weren't in traffic. Unless you count, office plants traffic"

"How did you get this?"

"How did you figure me out? ... We all know things Selena."

The two were glaring, challenging each other, and Hailee doubts became impossible to ignore. The whispers in the back of her mind became shouts, and she found herself in a standoff. If this, was it, the end of her plan... would (y/n) forgive her?

Or would her heart shatter and want nothing to do with her anymore. (y/n) deserved more than that. They both did. As much as she felt guilty now, practically playing with her heart, Hailee knew that it would have been worse if (y/n) found out through other means.

"So what? You're going to tell (y/n). Are you going to break her heart? We both know how fragile (y/n) is, even when she's being strong. Emily is someone she loves. Emily is her person"
