There's gonna be a time skip. So this is a few years after. So here goes......

Third person pov
Spring feels nice at the Sons. Chichi decided to organize a family picnic, stating that the weather is nice for a picnic.

Currently, Goku is laying on the grass, Gohan is eating on the picnic table, Goten is listening to music on his mp3, Pan is with Haichi, her 7 year old cousin and Hana, her 5 year old cousin is with Videl.

Chichi smiled at her family. They were wonderful together. She just wished that she could spend even more time with them.

"Is your brother still in his office? Dinner's ready and he's supposed to be down here."

" Well, you know how hardworking he is mum, don't blame him. He takes work seriously".

" I know, but he should come down for dinner. Where's your father?"

" Probably training."

" That man. I'll go call him. Why don't you call your brother down for dinner"

" Okay mum".

She went up to her brother's home office and walked in. She really didn't have the habit of knocking on the door

"Bulla, what have I said about knocking?"

"You know knocking isn't my thing. That's not important, mum wants you down for dinner".

" Sure, I'll be down soon"

" You said that 10 minutes ago. Mum's getting furious"

" Tell her I'm almost done"

" Fine"

Trunks is currently the CEO of Capsule Corp and sometimes he brings work home. That's why Bulma sacrificed a room for his office.

He gets up after saving whatever it is he was typing and left the office.

"Finally, he decides to ditch work and eat. Trunks you haven't eaten since morning, do you want to starve to death?"

" No mum, I'm fine". He sat down beside his father

" Trunks I know you take work seriously,but try to loosen up a bit. You have dark circles under your eyes and you've lost weight. You're also looking pale. You know what, let's go for a family outing. That way you'll loosen up and have fun".

" I don't want to. I have to work"

With that he took his dinner to his room.

Bulma sighed. She has to think of a way to loosen up Trunks.

"Maybe we should go back home to West city, that way the brat will loosen up and get some time to himself as family"

" Vegeta!!! That's a brilliant idea. I could just move his branch to West City, that way, he'll be home and relaxed a bit". She hugged Vegeta who cringed " thanks babe, your the best. "Whatever honey". He scowled then smirked

"Mom, where are we going? It's 6 am in the morning". Bulla yawned

" It's a surprise. So you can sleep in the car if you wanna"

" Where's dad?"

" Oh, he went ahead of us"

" How come he gets to fly and we don't?" Trunks huffed

"Coz , it wouldn't be a surprise anymore if you did"

Bulma obviously didn't tell them Vegeta's idea. Bulla falls asleep and Trunks is too busy on his laptop working.

"Seriously Trunks? Carrying work with you?"

"Yeah, trying to finish up a report. "

" Trust me, you won't need that. I already have that covered. Now sleep. You need it"

" What do you mean, you have it covered? "

" Trust me. Now go to sleep"

Trunks yawned and drifted to sleep. Bulma saw this opportunity and sped up so they arrive early so as to get everywhere arranged. They would finally be going home.

It was still really early. But the sound of sleep couldn't be heard.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"

"That's it Panny, almost there"

Goku is training his daughter to reach super Saiyan. She's been trying to for the past 8 years but she hasn't been able to unlock it. Now she's taking her training even more seriously.

"I believe in you Panny" Gohan called out

Suddenly, she powered down

" I can't do this Dad". She said breathlessly

"PAN!!!!!!"

"Huh? Goten? What is it?" Gohan asked

Goten landed panting. He looked shocked and exhausted

"Hi Goten, what's up?"

Pan has been closer to Goten than anyone since he apologized for the harsh training years back. Ever since their best friends left, Goten and Pan have been best friend.

"You won't believe who I ran into....."

*BAM*

"Woah , what was that?" Goku asked

" I haven't felt that energy in years" Gohan stated

" Exactly, he showed up when I was sleeping"

"Who is it?" Videl asked

" Vegeta"

Bulma pulled up at a familiar house. She got down and went in with the capsules that had all the furniture and kitchen appliances. Then she went to the car to wake up the kids. But she smiled as she got there. Trunks had his arm around Bulla and Bulla rested her head on his chest. She never saw them like this before. She took pictures. Trunks and Bulla always bickered about everything but one thing Bulma knows is that Trunks always has his sister's back and Bulla did the same.

Moving away form home hit the kids more. Their social life and everything. None of the kids were happy, but they got used to it. She can't wait to see the look on their faces when they wake up.

"Kids, wake up. We're here!"

"Where are we?"

"Mum? Are we....."

" Yes sweetie. We're home"
