Chapter 2: Crash and Burn

Natsu and Lucy rushed into the school where couples were making out against lockers and bookworms were hurrying to their classes.

"Whew, we're not late! For a second there I thought we were cutting it close." Lucy sighed.

'Of course we're not late you always make things so dramatic.' Natsu thought and crossed his arms, poking his hip out.

Lucy looked back at her best friend and giggled. "Uh-oh someone's in their Swagneel Mc Sassypants mode."

Natsu furrowed his eyebrows. "Swagneel Mc Sassypants?" He nearly choked.

"Yeah you know when you get all 'I'm all that and I'd rather be six feet under than hangout with my friends." A familiar voice imitated Natsu.
Natsu turned behind him to see Lisanna and couldn't help but grin.

"Okay MOM." He laughed

Lisanna I guess you could call a friend but Natsu really didn't see her like that, he saw her as something a little more.
Although he could NEVER tell her that.
Besides she probably had another person she liked.
Natsu's face went a bit more distressed.

"Natsu what's wrong?" Lisanna asked concerned. "Erm, nothing." He said blushing faintly.

In fact, she probably liked one of the so called 'Princes of the School.' Like every other girl at Fairy High.
Sure enough as if on cue, Laxus ; the 3rd most popular guy in school, came waltzing in with Mirajane and Cana on his arms.
"Yo Lisanna!" He smiled and gently punched her in the arm. Lisanna watched Laxus walk off and attempted to hide the blush on her face.

Natsu scoffed.
'Only if his brain was as efficient as his looks.'

"I'm going to class. See ya." Natsu told Lucy.
"Yeaaah...okay?"

Natsu sighed and sped off down the hallway. The image of Lisanna blushing like that flashed in his head and it made him so jealous. He hated it. He hated Laxus. And he hated Loke. And he hated-

"Ooph!" Natsu grunted as he turned the hall crashing into something. He opened his eyes and somehow ended up looking at the ceiling. "What the hell..?" He asked as he tried to feel around for his glasses. Natsu felt around and touched something smooth but hard at the same time.

"Look nerd. I don't care if you have some creepy fetish for damn hot sexy guys but you grabbing and groping my chest is kinda freakin me out." A deep voice said.

Natsu finally found his glasses and slid them on and he found-

He found himself touching another mans bare chest, a very muscular bare chest to be exact.

Natsu tilted his head to see a raven haired boy with porcelain skin and dark blue eyes. He's seen this boy before, but Natsu couldn't quite put his finger on it. "Gray buddy...What you doin?" Loke asked the boy who was sprawled out on the floor.

That's when it hit him. Gray Fullbuster, the most popular and hottest guy in school.

And possibly the most horrible.
