"Zane Mayer pay attention!"
Mr.O'Neil yelled as I was staring at the amazing and beautiful Amanda Lee."Sorry Mr.O'Neil I was"
I said as he cut me off "See me after class!"
About 45 minutes passed and class had ended. I wanted to talk to Amanda but Mr.O'Neil pulled me aside as everyone left."Didn't I say to stop daydreaming in class?"
"Yes Mr.O'Neil I'm sorry it won't happen again."
"You're right it won't because I'm moving seats tomorrow!"
He always had a weird way of arranging the seats. I never understood how he set it up, but I hope he goes in alphabetical order for once because I'd be sitting next to Amanda.
The next day came and he had set up the seats and what do you know, alphabetical order as I had hoped. "Hey Amanda"
I said as my voice cracked, I winced and sat in my seat. She giggled "Hey Zane."
She said in a flirty voice.
"Now I hope this arrangement will help Zane stop daydreaming"
Said J my best friend in a teasing voice. I growled at him.
"Shut up!"
I said while chuckling to myself.
Class started nothing interesting happened because you know it's history class. Class ended and I had turned to Amanda and got the courage to start an actual conversation with her."So um ..."
I said then ran off (like an idiot)"Uh bye Zane "
She giggled. I felt like it was a dumb idea to come back, but I did it anyway. "Um what was that about?"
She said giggling. "I uh... wanted to umm, can, can I start over?"
"Go ahead, I'm very interested to find out what you were saying."
She said with a big grin on her face and biting her bottom lip. "I think you're really cool and we've been friends for a while now and I was wondering if you wanted to be my"
I stopped and got really nervous my palms were sweating like crazy, but I continued what I was saying. "I was wondering if you wanted to be my"
Again I stopped, I swallowed the the leftover saliva in my mouth, I tried to continue again. "I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?"
She hugged my and said "I was waiting forever to hear you say that."
At that moment I had felt accomplished."I did it"
I thought to myself.
