...
Drops of water dripping down an empty tunnel.
Solemn, slow, footsteps jitter down the corridor.
Heavy breathing echoes through the chasm, battling the returning steps.

Who are you, young man?
Do you know, really?
Young woman?

A sigh silences the rebounding words.

Scream, scream, child.
Nobody will listen.
Are you broken yet, son?
Are you broken yet, daughter?

Wood scars on iron as a torch is lifted from its sconce.
Slowly, footsteps reverberate once more throughout the dim cavern.

They hate you, young daughter.
They loathe you, young son.
Throw away this dimly light,
cease your march.

Flames scream as the torch flies toward the stream.
A rasped voice confirms its death
just as another sconce is emptied.
The footsteps continue on.

You think your actions are impressive?
They talk of you behind your back
whore
coward

Another torch flies with fierce velocity.
Anotter sconce screeches as it is emptied.

You believe yourself unique?
You believe yourself special?
Your problems are nothing, little child,
so shut up and return to your act.

A scream carries the next torch as it flies.
The starts of tears are quickly silenced afterwards.

Yes! Lash out. That is all you're good for.
You hide behind false successes.
Whore.
Coward.

The footsteps continue on as another sconce is emptied.
