A soft hum escaped your lips as you watched Inui, your boyfriend, from the window waving at you. You smiled waving back at him. He was with Koko as you waved at him also, he smiled waving back.
The two had always been visiting you ever since the doctors told you that your condition was getting worse and is needed to be at the hospital at all times. You were suffering from stage 4 cancer, and every day it was getting worse. The two entered the building as you hummed waiting for them to be seen on the glass window just right next to you.
You finally saw them as you smiled. You can see Koko holding back his tears as you knew what that means. 'Guess it's almost my time, huh.' you thought just giving them your sweet smile.
"Please, not that smile y/n." Inui spoke as you sighed leaning into your bed. "Inui, I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I can't be that healthy and energetic y/n anymore. You deserve better." you said, your voice cracking a bit as tears were swiftly flowing down your cheeks. "N-no, y/n. You're the best girlfriend I could ever ask for. And you are better, even the best." You smiled at his words, at least. It made you a little better.
"Koko.." you slowly muttered as the boy looked at you through the glass, you looked back at them and smiled.
"Take care of Inui, 'kay." The two looked at you with tears streaming on their faces, they just couldn't help but feel hurt, seeing you like that made them sad.
"Y/n. Please hold on a little longer, for me. Please." Inui begged, even if he knew it was almost time for you. You gave him another smile. And the image of Baji, your brother, just flashed in front of you.
"He's here Inui, guess it's time." Inui's eyes widened as he banged at the glass door. You position yourself, getting ready for death to get you.
"Hey, Inui... Let's go to the arcade again 'kay." you spoke as you looked at him and Koko. "I love you, Inui." You smiled as you slowly felt unconsciousness. Inui started yelling, calling the doctors as Koko restrained him from going on a rampage, doctors soon came rushing in, trying to revive you as they watched them, getting their hopes up. As 30 minutes passed of trying to revive you, the doctors concluded to announce you dead.
"Time of death, 5:45 pm." one of the doctors declared.
'5:45?' Inui thought as a flashback came to mind. 5:45 was the time that he and y/n had their first kiss at the arcade.
