part thirty-nine

I was just relaxing with hunter and omega on the couch, we were watching some holo tv and some cartoon came on, the cartoon was boring but some birthday party thing came on and omega got really intrigued, funny thing was my birthday was actually tomorrow but no one actually knew when my birthday is, because well clones don't have a birthday so they don't really talk about it and I guess I didn't really remember my birthday a year ago because we were kind of busy.

"wait you have a birthday don't you?" omega asked,

"yeah when is your birthday?" hunter asked "wait you have had to have birthday since you've been with us"

"um actually about that, it happens to be uh tomorrow" I said softly

"tomorrow?!" hunter yelled standing up "why have you never told me about it?"

"I don't know, I don't think about it that much," I said

"but I missed it last year" he said, I stood up and grabbed his hand

"hunter, last year we were on a long mission and it slipped my mind and plus you don't have a birthday and I don't know" I said, I felt guilty but my birthday was never really a big thing I celebrated.

"I'm sorry I never asked you, I just have never really experienced a birthday" he said

"so whats a birthday like? how old are you gonna be?"

"uh I haven't had a proper birthday in a while, when I was with the mandalorians I just got a special meal and when I was with the Jedi, I had a few people have a cake and dinner type thing, and I will be 27"

"we have to have a party like the one on tv" omega smiled

"oh I-"

"yeah a party, like a nice dinner or something"

"I mean sure" I smiled

"yes that I will be so fun" omega smiled

"okay I am going to the near by village, I will be back later" Hunter smiled

"wait a second, I don't want, or need-"

"okay see you later" he said

"wait-"

"bye" he said running out of the house,

"wait hunter I'm coming" omega said following

"urgh" I sighed

I sat back down on the couch and changed the channel, I heard the door open back up and I looked over at hunter, he ran into the kitchen and rummaged through a few draws before he ran over to me and kissed my cheek,

"bye see you later" he said

"bye" I said

I must of fallen asleep on the couch because I felt as I was being lightly shaken awake.

"mmm," I groaned slowly opening my eyes,

"hey, we're back" hunter whispered

"mmm okay" I said sitting up, I fell into his arms and he wrapped his arms around me,

"so what did you do at the village" I said, he laid back on the couch and I laid on top of him,

"not much" he said as I buried my head into his chest,

"mmm really" I said tiredly "you were gone ages its really late"

"no we weren't, we were only gone for an hour its only 6"
