Chapter 34

Ella's POV

It's a week after the paint indecent and Kelsey got to the summer house yesterday. She's here until Saturday. I don't know how I'm going to handle another five days with her because she is already driving me crazy.

Although I love her and have missed her so much over the summer but there is only so much of her I can take at a time. Inviting her to the summer house for six days wasn't the brightest idea on my part. I'll just have to try and keep her busy somehow.

"Kelsey?" I ask sitting next to her tired of hearing about the numorous boys she's hooked up with this summer.

"Ya?" She asks back.

"Do you want to go to the beach today?"

"That sounds like a lot of fun." She says.

"Is it alright if I ask Austin if he wants to come with us?"

"It doesn't matter to me. When do you want to leave?"

"Now is fine." I tell her and we both get up. "You go get changed, I'll go ask Austin if he wants to come."

Kelsey and I both walk upstairs and I go to Austin's room to see him laying on his bed, playing on his phone.

"Kelsey and I are going to the beach, do you want to come with is?" I ask Austin and he looks up.

"No overly." He responses and goes back to his phone.

"Well that's too bad because you are coming with us." I tell him and he sits up.

"Is someone tired of her friend already?" He asks in a mocking tone.

"Yes, now get ready. We'll meet you downstairs in 10 minutes tops." I say and walk out of the room.

I go to my room and put on a blue and white striped bikini. I throw a pair of shorts and a white t-shirt over my bathing suit and head downstairs to see that Austin and Kelsey are both already ready.

"I need a towel Ella. Can you please grab me one?" Kelsey asks and I get her and I towels.

I slip on a pair of strappy sandals and when I stand up again I see Kelsey rubbing her hand up and down Austin's arm. I know it shouldn't bug me but it really does.

The three of us then walk to the beach and it's evident that I am the third wheel. Kelsey keeps bumping into Austin and they talk leaving me out of the conversation.

We get to the beach and we set up the towel, me in the middle of the two of them. We all get down into just our bathing suits and I lay down to tan.

"Austin you're so muscular. Do you workout?" Kelsey asks him.

"Sometimes." He replies and she moves her towel to the other side of him causing sand to fly all over me in the process.

"Well it's obvious. Just look at these arms." I look up just in time to see him flex his muscles so she can feel. "And these abs. God you are so attractive, if you and Ella weren't together I would totally have to have you." I choke on my drink when she says her last line.

"No, no, no, no! Austin and I are not together." I say sitting up. "We are just close friends and always have been." I tell her and she turns back to Austin.

"Then I guess anything I do would be fine." She says and I lie down and grab my phone from the pocket of my shorts.

I text Hunter telling him to come down to the beach and he says that he will be here in a minute. I'm thankful because Kelsey hanging all over Austin is upsetting me, not that I'd admit it.

Soon enough Hunter gets to the beach and I feel so much better. I get up to greet him and give him a hug and bring him over to where we are situated.

"Kelsey this is Hunter, Austin's older brother. Hunter this is my friend Kelsey." I introduce them to each other.

"It's nice to meet you Kelsey." Hunter says politely.

"You too Hunter." Kelsey says and starts throwing herself at him instead of Austin.

I know it's terrible but I feel much better now that she is hanging all over Hunter instead of Austin. I lie back down beside Austin and see him giving me an amused look.

"What's that look for?" I ask him and he chuckles.

"You just couldn't let it happen could you Ella?" He asks me.

"I have no clue what you are talking about Austin." I say with a giggle.

"Are you jealous that I'm getting the attention of your friend?"

"Oh god no. I'm kind of tired of her. There is only so much I can take of her and my dosage of her has been too much already."

"Then Ella is jealous that she was hanging all over me."

"Oh my god no. You're not mine. Any girl can have you." I say slightly sarcastically and I know that he knows it.

"Is Ella to stubborn to admit that she is jealous that I was getting hit on by her friend?"

"No because I wasn't getting jealous." I state and I know that he can see right through my lie.

I look over at Kelsey and Hunter and see that she is now hanging all over him. She's always had a thing for older anyways. The way he is sitting it looks as if he wants to get away from her but can't. Poor Hunter, but better him then Austin.

(A/N: Ella was most certainly jealous there. Maybe her feelings for Austin are finally starting to show through. Maybe she's starting to let them happen even though she doesn't want them to. Guys TSBL is almost finished :'(. Yes I know it is sad news to hear; but if I have everything that I want I only have 9 more chapters and an epilogue! Then it's going to he finished.
