Chapter four.
Harry’s POV.
When I was a child my parents decided they did not want me anymore, so one day when I was at the park they left to get me some chips-haven’t seen them since. I had to learn how to fend for myself at such a young age. If anyone asked how it felt I would shrug it off and say that I didn’t care, but in reality it was tearing me up inside knowing I didn’t have a bed to go home to. I never made friends-only enemies. Drinking has been my only escape from this cold harsh place we call the world. It didn’t matter where I was, I would just drink and drink until I couldn’t feel the pain any longer. I kept telling myself I would stop; I kept making promises to myself that I would become a better person. But what is the point if I have nothing to become a better person for? Looking in the mirror has become one of the most painful things. To be honest I am just afraid of what I may see looking back at me, because it’s certainly not the innocent young boy I once was. I hate the person I have become. I am a horrible being, and have done horrible things. I am a monster.
If only I could turn back time.

I was sat on the side of a small corner restaurant. The smell of fried foods filling my senses made my mouth water. I shoved my right hand into my back pocket hoping I had some money, but of course I had none. I quickly took of my orange beanie placing it in front of me.
“Erm hello could you please spare me a couple of pounds?” I politely asked the crowd of people walking past. They had walked away after I had asked them for the donation. I hung my head down in shame letting my chocolate curls call on my face. Just as I was about to get up and find a new place to sit, when a young girl handed me money. After the girl handed me the money she quickly shoved past me walking into the restaurant not looking back once.
When I opened the door to the restaurant a bell dinged signaling someone has entered. I peered to the front of the line. There she was, the girl. She was amazing. I didn’t get a good look at her before, but now I can see her perfectly. Even though I am only seeing her from the behind I know she is stunning. Her long black curls falling perfectly over her shoulders and down her back. I looked this girl up and down, checking out her curved figure. As she turned around to walk to her table, I finally got a glimpse of her face-it was flawless.
I was impatiently waiting for my food, when she came into my sight. She was sat in a small booth across from me. I couldn’t help but stare at her, who wouldn’t she is gorgeous. I kept trying to think of ways to get her over here but who would want a guy like me? A gross, curly headed bloke.
“Your coffee sir” a tall blonde haired boy said.
I wasn’t even paying attention to him at all my gaze was trapped on this beautiful creature. A few minutes passed when I suddenly felt a burning sensation on my crotch. It took me a few seconds to register what had just happened.
“WHAT THE HELL?!” I viciously yelled at the boy. Within seconds my fist made contact with his right cheek, causing him to fall on the wet floor. I curled my hands up into fists at my sides. As the crowd around us grew bigger, I grabbed the pounds out of my pocket then slammed them onto the old wooden table. I spun around on my heels only to be pulled back. I came face to face with the young lad. His right cheek had already formed a faint bruise, his eyes full of anger. He grabbed hold of my shirt collar pulling me towards him. Before I knew it his left fist made contact with my right cheek. He let go of my collar, making me stumble backwards into the wooden table I was sitting at earlier. I was about to punch him back, when a small hand grabbed my fist. I looked up to see who it was. It was her, it was the girl.
“Come with me.” she demanded leading me out of the restaurant. She took us to a small car park across the street. We stopped walking once we reached a small silver car. She turned to me and gently rubbed my damaged cheek.
“You really don’t have to.” I said while pushing her hand away
“No, but I want to.” She said while grabbing hold of my hand. I didn’t say another word after that. I once again trapped in her beautiful glare. She kept rubbing my cheek until the finally started to talk again.
“So what is your name?” she asked while looking up at me. I looked back down to her, her plump pink lips parted a bit. I don’t know why but I really wanted to kiss her, right then and there.
“Harry.” I waited for her to say something else but she never did.
“And yours?” I asked leaning a little closer to her.
“Scarlet” she said now leaning up against the side of the car. She then opened the car door and quickly putting the keys in. Once we were both in the car she drove off taking us in a direction I was not familiar with. The whole car ride was silent, but I didn’t mind it much. We arrived at a small building, it must be her flat. I got out of the car then followed her through the door. I shut the door behind me-hanging up my coat. Her flat was nice-very tidy. But why was I here?
“Scarlet?”
“Yeah?” she called from the kitchen. Walking towards me with a bag of ice and two cups of tea. I moved closer to her taking both cups of tea out of her hands setting them down on the nearest table. I grabbed her by her waist closing the distance between us making us only inches apart.
“Thank you” I said whispering in her ear. I could tell the beating of her heart scared her.
“Your welcome” she quietly said. I tilted her head. Gently cupping her check I leaned in. brushing my lips against hers. She tilted her head, our lips locking. I depended the kiss. Grabbing her head with one hand and her waist with the other I pulled her closer to me. She arched her back making the difference between us diminish. Our hips locked together. I bit her bottom lip, allowing my tongue entrance into her mouth. Suddenly she pulled back.
“Your tea is going to be cold,” she said, her cheeks turning a bright read. Staring at her feet I knew she was smiling.
“Its ok love, you don’t have to be scared,” I whispered into her ear. Grabbing her hand and my tea we went to the bedroom. I slipped my t-shirt off, took of my shoes and climbed into her bed.
“ I don’t bite,” I said looking at scarlet standing in the corner on the room. She slowly climbed in moving to the farthest edge of the bed. I wrapped my arms around her stomach bringing her towards me. I hummed softly in her ear, watching as her eyes began to flutter shut. I closed my eyes dozing of wanting the moment to last forevr.
