One might start this story off by saying Once Upon A Time, but this fairytale is not an average tale. This is a story no parent would ever want their children to stumble upon. It is a story that should be kept far and near from anyone, locked into a crypt deep within the earth, not even the devil himself could prey upon it. I am sure you are beginning to catch my drift.

We begin our story with a young girl named Alice. Alice is traveling to her grandmother’s house, which is tucked deep inside the woods. Alice would not dare wander there alone so her sister decided to accompany her on the trip. Alice is not too happy about going on this trip because her sister will tell her why she must visit her grandmothers. They do not have a good relationship with her as it is so she did not believe she should have to go, but her sister insisted to the point where Alice was extremely annoyed.

Alice and her sister Helen are traveling down a dirt road in their beat up car when they reach a path to their right.

“Alright here we are.” Helen said.

Alice looked out the car window with disgust and turned to face Helen.

“You’re not coming with me? Seriously Helen, I don’t want to do this alone.”  Alice said with annoyance in her voice.

“Alice, you’re not the runt of the liter anymore. It’s time you and grandmother have the talk. Nobody went with me, so I am not going with you. It’s not that bad. I promise.

Alice sighed and looked out the car window.  The tall trees covered the path casting eerie shadows. The trees leaves whistled in the wind talking amongst each other as if they were wanting to lure Alice into their chamber of terror. Alice got out of the car and looked up at the gleaming full moon. She then turned and looked at Helen who smiled widely at her.

“Don’t be so tense. It’s really not that bad. Don’t be messy and she won’t be mad. Now go, or you will miss your chance.” Helen said.

Alice got out of the car and put a red coat on to keep her warm. She slowly walked towards the path and walked quickly down it. Twigs SNAPPED and CRUNCHED under her feet as she vastly moved down the long path towards her grandmother’s house. The trees screamed and whistled all around her. She quickly moved down the path, getting terrified with every step she took. Alice looked up at the moon as a cloud began to pass over it.

CRUNCH! CRUNCH!

Something was moving in the woods. Alice jerked around and then turned back to look on the path. A hooded figure in a red robe was standing in the middle of the path with its arms outreached towards Alice.

“Alice” The figure whispered.

Alice hesitated at first but believed this might be part of the initiation so she followed the figure ahead of her. The figure was moving quickly in front of her, so Alice had to begin running. The night sounds and silhouettes of the trees loomed upon Alice as she ran in the darkness; the full moon’s gleaming light is the only source she had for seeing. Alice began to catch up to the figure when suddenly the figure simply disappeared in the darkness. Alice looked all around her. The figure was nowhere to be seen.

Alice became confused and decided maybe this was not part of her initiation after all. Alice became so angry at herself because she was told to go straight to her grandmother’s house, but once again she let nonsense distract her. She sighed and became upset because she thought she was going to upset her grandmother. She looked up at the sky and clouds were heading towards the moon.

“Oh no! I’m going to be late! Alice exclaimed.

Alice quickly turned around when she notices a large note hanging on a tree. The note was written in bloody red writing. Alice crept up the note and grabbed it off the tree and it read:

F E A S T

Alice read the note over and over again becoming more confused as she read it. She did not know what the note could mean. She checked herself and knew she did not have any food on her.

All of a sudden a loud WHOOSH sound was heard. A large body fell from the tree all tied up and landed with a thud on the ground. Alice screamed with fright and put her hands to her mouth. She looked down at the body and it was a young man who looked barely over eighteen years old. He had a frightened look on his face and he was all tied up with his mouth taped shut.

“Oh dear lord sir, are you alright?” Alice asked as she uncovered his mouth.

“Stay away from me!” He shrieked.

“Oh sir..I am not going to hurt you. I am trying to help you.”

Alice looked up at the moon and back down at the young man. The full moon began gleaming down on Alice. Alice was so confused but the she felt something inside of her start to grow. It was a strong desire. It was a desire she hadn’t felt before. It burned her stomach so bad she wanted to cry. It was as if poison was coursing through her veins. It was a desire…to eat the young man.

Alice looked up at the sky and let out a loud HOWL from deep within her. She screamed and shrieked as her nails began to grow long and thick. She felt herself growing and getting taller. Long and thick fur sprouted on her skin. Razor sharp teeth busted through her jaws. The young man tried to escape from the ropes that had him tied up but there was no use.

“My my..what big teeth you have..” The young man said as he stared at her in terror letting out one final scream.

Alice ripped her nails through his chest, blood seeped through her claw marks. Alice crawled on top of him and let out one final howl to the sky before she bit into his flesh and ripped him to pieces.

Clouds finally covered up the full moon and Alice rose up from feasting on the young man. She licked her lips and bloody fingers, transforming back into her normal self.

“Oh no, I’ve made a mess!” Alice laughed at what she had done.

A figure suddenly emerged from the dark woods with the red robe covering up her identity. The figure motioned for Alice to follow. The two quickly ran to the woods when they finally came to a clearing and stumbled upon a large wooden cabin that sat quietly among the trees. The figure took off the robe and revealed themselves to be Helen.

“I told you that you could do it Alice. Welcome to the pack! I didn’t know if you were going to be ready or not but you proved yourself worthy. Grandma is going to be so proud.” Helen said.

“I didn’t realize how tasty it would be. The rush and adrenaline of killing was something I’ve never desired, but I loved it.” Alice said.

“Just wait, with time each kill gets better and better. I am so proud of you.” Helen grabbed Alice and hugged her and smiled at her proudly.

Helen grabbed Alice’s hand and the two skipped happily towards their grandma’s cabin. Alice looked at the gleaming moon one final time and opened her mouth to let out a bloodcurdling howl.

I would end this story with “The End.” But sadly there is no end to this terrifying story because Alice and her sister are still out there feasting on pour humans as we speak. I tell you this story to warn you of the dangers of traveling in the woods alone at night or even going outside in the dark because Alice and her sister could be out there…Waiting…to feast upon their next meal. Beware of the full moon my dearly beloved readers or you might just become their prey.
