Y/n's POV:

Y/n stepped into the stable. Concern flashed through her as she gazed around for Luca. She shuddered at the call that she had Received from Luca.

Flash back to the call about 30 minutes ago
Y/n blinked as she heard her phone ring, she answered the call to be met with Luca's frantic breathing as she could hear someone yelling, at Luca, somewhere near him. "Please help me." His shakey voice said, Y/n blinked before pausing, listening to the yelling voice in the background.
"WHY THE HELL DID YOU CHEAT?! TELL ME WHY LUCA!" It was Hailey, Luca's Girlfriend, it hit Y/n all like a train. Y/n always hated Hailey but wondered if Luca actually cheated.
Suddenly she heard the sudden sound of someone hitting the wall before the yelling continued.

"YOU SAID YOU WHERE GOING TO RAIL A GIRL! EXPLAIN YOURSELF!" Hailey snapped at Luca again, Luca could be heard whimpering. "I didn't say that." He could be heard muttering.  "BULL SH*T!" Hailey screamed at him. "What do you want? A apology for something I didn't do, if so I'm sorry!" Luca could be heard, his tone of voice sincere.

Y/n silently listened to the conversation, feeling herself break in two at his words. 'Though he did nothing, he's still trying to apologize.' She thought, frowning sadly.
Hailey screamed at Luca again, pure anger in her voice, Luca could be heard muttering how he wish he wasn't alive at the current moment before the call dropped.
He didn't call Y/n back.

That's what worried Y/n, he usually calls back. She wondered if this argument finally broke Luca for good, she remembered being his friend through all of his relationships.
She remembered how everytime a relationship ended, he lost a little bit of himself.

Y/n looked for any signs for Luca in the tack room, she spotted a Girl standing beside a stall, she quickly approached.
"Have you seen Mr Harrison anywhere?" Y/n asked, gazing at the girl while using Luca's surname.
The girl nodded.
"He had a argument with his girlfriend about him cheating, His girlfriend ended up slamming him against the wall and yelling at him. Harrison scurried off somewhere, I think maybe toward the beach?" The girl suggested.

"Did anything seem off about him?" Y/n asked, her eyes wide with concern as she gazed at the several horse stalls near her.
"He was crying, I'm not sure where Hailey went." The girl admitted.
"Alright! thanks for your help." Y/n said, quickly making her way out of the stable and made her way to the beach.

At the beach

Y/n stood there, gazing around for Luca. She saw a rather tall figure, about 6'9, holding a pistol, she widened her eyes.
She saw the figure pull the pistol up to their chin, before putting their finger onto the trigger.
Y/n ran forward and quickly hugged him from behind. "Don't do it please Luca... It's not worth it."
Luca didn't respond, nor remove the gun from his chin.

Y/n only hugged him tighter, starting to cry herself, she didn't want to lose her closest friend -- and crush -- to suicide. "Please.." she paused when she heard Luca sobbing as he pulled the pistol away and dropping to his knees.

Y/n widened her eyes, before grabbing a hold of his hand and then onto the pistol and gently pulling on it. Luca caught the idea of what she was trying to do and fully loosened his grasp on the gun, allowing her to take it away.

She then put it out onto the sand and pulled the Tall man closer to herself, holding him. She heard Luca's crying had lightened up.

Unexpectedly, Luca turned around and grabbed Y/n, pulling her into his chest. "Thank you.." Luca muttered, "..For saving me.." he finished, just holding her there.

A smile came across Y/n's face as she nuzzled her head into his chest with a small laugh. She then looked up at Luca, her e/c eyes meeting his gray, bloodshot ones. Y/n the rose her hand up to his face and gently took off his mask, in which he didn't even stop her. When she did, there was a small smile on his face.  Luca then whispered to her.

"Thank you, again.."
