Chapter 35

Ella's POV

I did it! I've endured a week of Kelsey! It's the morning that Kelsey's mom comes to get her and I couldn't be happier. Although I love her and she is one of my best friends I don't know how I put up with her talking and blabbing sometimes.

"Do you want to go do something this morning before I leave?" Kelsey asks me at breakfast.

"There is no point." I look at my phone. "It's 9:15 and you're mom is coming to get you at 10:30. Honestly you should probably just pack your stuff so your mom doesn't have to wait when she gets here. You know how impatient parents can be." I tell Kelsey as we eat.

Throughout breakfast she keeps asking if we can do something but I continue to tell her no. She whines and complains the whole time and I don't remember why I decided to invite her. Oh ya it was because Austin's friend Dominic was supposed to come to the house the same time as Kelsey for the same amount of time. They would've liked each other, Austin and I are sure of it. They act the same and even have similar interests. Why he didn't come, no one really knows. But if he had she wouldn't have had to hardcore flirt with Austin and Hunter right in front of my face.

Ya, it's kind of mean of me but I want her out of here as soon as possible. She's been driving me insane! I thought her flirting with Austin was going to be finished when I introduced her to Hunter, but no. Instead she flirted with both of them; right in front of my face! To say I was done with her was an understatement.

Kelsey and I finish our breakfast and I tidy up in the kitchen while she goes upstairs to pack her bag. When I'm done in the kitchen I go out into the living room to see Kelsey sitting beside Hunter flirting harder then she had been in the past week. This was probably due to the fact that her mom was coming in like 30 minutes.

30 minutes went by quickly and I could not be more thankful. She flirted with both Austin and Hunter for the whole time! Meanwhile I just sat there on my phone pretending to be uninterested. Her mom got to our place and chatted with my parents and Samantha for a couple minutes while Kelsey said her goodbyes.

"Bye Austin." She says. "Keep lifting and maybe sometime something can and will happen between us." She winks at him and gives him a big hug.

"Hunter, here is my number." She hands him a little piece of paper. "I want you to call me so we can stay in contact." I want to vomit. "I'll miss you." She says and kisses him on the cheek and he moves backwards slightly to try and get away from her; but this just causes her to fall over and land on his chest since she was on her tiptoes.

"I'll miss you too Kelsey?" He says pushing her away slightly and it comes out like a question.

"Ella thanks sooo much for inviting me to your summer house. I had an amazing time! I'm going to miss you so much. I don't know how I'll survive without you until September." She says in a high pitch squeal and throws her arms around me. "Bye Ella."

"Bye Kelsey." I say and she lets go of me.

"Kelsey dear it's time to go now." Her mom calls and she walks outside.

"Bye guys!" She calls and we all walk inside.

Hunter goes out back and Austin and I go to the living room.

I sit on the couch and sigh. "I'm so glad she's gone!" I exclaim as Austin sit down beside me on the couch.

"Tell me about it. Here's my number Hunter!" He mocks her.

"Do you lift Austin?"

"Hunter has anyone ever told you how hot you are?"

"And those abs!"

"Ella darling you are such a good friend!"

"Austin your hair is just so totally perfect!"

"Ella your body looks so amazing in that bathing suit. Can you believe I almost kept it for myself?"

"Austin you're too perfect for your own good!"

We have a good laugh about all the stupid things Kelsey said while she was here and Austin looks into my eyes.

In the heat of the moment he kisses me. It's gentle but obvious that he needs it. It doesn't last long and he is the one who pulls back first this time.

"Ella you've said it before, nothing can happen between us."

"You're right." I say but can't help feeling a bit disappointed.

(A/N: Kelsey is gone! Yay! Let's have a party! If you're wondering yes she was created with the intentions of annoying the hell out of everyone. You've gotta have at least one character like that in every good story. And Ella, if you're feeling disappointed then maybe you should admit your feels for him and then the two of you can live happily ever after! But noooo you're too stubborn! I hope you guys liked this chapter! Only 8 more than the epilogue :'( I can't believe it's actually coming to an end! But until next time.
