Heyyyy!

The name's Sophia.

I'm an 18 year old Asian born and raised in London.

Let'a begin with a positive, music is the love of my life and I'm hoping to be a producer!

Unfortunately life wasn't always like this for me in my childhood.

Whilst I was growing up I experienced some traumatic and upsetting events. This led me to growing up with unanswered questions, unwanted feelings and worst of all, unforgettable memories.

When I was younger I used to live with my mum, dad, brother, half sister, grandma and worst of all my dad's sister. Others may refer to her as an aunty, but for me she was far from family.

It's difficult for me to remember any good memories from my childhood. All I can remember is getting bullied at school, feeling lonely and being abused by my dad's sister.

I was only seven.

Growing up I was taught that your family love you and treat you with care but in this scenario it was the complete office. As my mum and dad were always at work, they were oblivious to this at first.

Every Tuesday and Friday I would cry and beg my mum not to go to work after she picked me and Clinton (my brother) up from school.

These two days were tortue for me.

I would get treated like a slave in my own house. If I didn't wash the dishes in time or if I made a mistake or if I simply didn't know anything, I would face the punishment of standing up facing a wall for an hour.

My feet used to get knackered, but she didn't care.

I always used to think to myself, why me?

What did I ever do?
