*Cameron's POV
Wow. Rough night I had last night. I was up, pretty much all night studying for my Chemistry exam I really need to pass. If I don't, I'll be spending my summer in school trying to get my credit. I always get distracted by something. Like my best friends, Nash, Ryan, and Matt. We are some trouble makers when we are together. Nash and Ryan are a year younger than Matt and I. I live right across the street from Ryan and it's pretty cool. He was telling me that his cousin was moving in soon, but didn't give me an exact date. I know that she is my age and is really smart.
I woke up late this morning, not hearing my alarm. What a mistake that was. My mom came in with a bucket of water and dumped it on my head. I gasped and sat up, chocking on the water. I coughed and rubbed my eyes and widened my eyes, looking at my mom,
"What was that for?!" I yelled, but not to loud or I'd be grounded for a while.
"First off, dont talk to me like that Mr, and second, you're going to be late for school!" she yelled and I stood on my feet, quicky and walked over to my closet. I loooked back at my mom and wided my eyes a little bit,
"Mom, could you- uh- get out?" I laughed lightly at her reaction. Her eyes wide and her mouth parted as she closed her eyes with her hand,
"I'm sorry, sweetheart." she backed out of my room and I chuckled lightly.
I look over at the time and see the neon lights read, '7:15 am' I groaned and slid on my black joggers and slide on my grey vans and grabbed my backpack and a grey shirt. I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen, grabbing a poptart and sliding it into my backpack, kissing my moms cheek.
"Bye mom. See you later." she smiled and nodded, saying it back to me. I grab my keys that were hanging by the front door, walking outside. I unlock the car door, putting my backpack in the passenger seat, standing outside the car and slide on my shirt. I glance across the street at Ryan's house seeing a beautiful girl looking at me. I grin at her and notice her cheeks getting red. She got into her car and drove away. I wonder if that was Ryan's cousin. Wow she was gorgeous. I got into my car, driving to school. My palms sweaty as I thought of failing my Chemistry exam. I pray all goes well and I pass so I can graduate and have a rad ass summer. I might even talk to that girl across the street. I know this day will go great, if I pass this exam.
