248 days until the wedding
*Rowan's POV*
"Oh fuck" I cursed loudly as I bolted upright.
The memory of last night came flooding back, alongside the thumping sensation in my head.
"Mmmmm" came a quiet, unfamiliar grumble from beside me.
"Who the hell are you?" I called out, then rubbed my head to soothe the aching sensation.
I instantly pulled the thin sheet up to cover my modesty from the male beside me. But my modesty clearly went out the window.
"Matty, don't you remember babe? You where all over me last night like a rash" he grinned cockily.
"No I don't Matthew" I lied as I got out of bed and bent down towards the wooden flooring. I began collecting my dis guarded possessions.
"My names not Matthew"he groaned.
"It is, I saw your ID" I smiled back confidently.
"Matty" he argued.
"No" I responded.
"What's your name?" He questioned.
"Guess"
"Chloe? Maria? Iris" he began listing names.
"Iris? Bloody Iris? Was the last lady here 90?" I gasped.
"Perhaps" he smiled before rolling back over and pointing to the door in a casual manner.
"Lovely" I whispered as I threw on my dress and tip toed out of the room. I turned around and took one last glance at the sleeping body still draped and entwined in the covers. I then slammed the door as loudly as I possibly could. I could hear him murmur and complain through the door. I smirked and walked out, and just prayed I'd never see this 'Matty' guy again.
~ flashback from the night before ~
"It's New Year's Eve Indi! Why aren't you & Brax coming out? Neither of you would turn down alcohol!" I groaned as I began fiddling with my hair.
"We want to spend the night together, we need to calm down sooner or later" she smiled.
"Do that when your married" I pouted as I continued to apply make up to my face.
"Well the weddings going to be put back about a month or so" Indie beamed.
"Why? I thought you'd always wanted to get married in August"
"I did, but with this little one our plans have to change" she smiled widely as she touched her flat stomach.
"Brindie's pregnant?" I squealed as she nodded slowly. "Oh my god shut up!"
I got up and ran over to congratulate my best friend. It was only a matter of time before they were going to have a baby, but I didn't think I'd be losing my drinking buddy to a baby so quickly. I thought I had her until the wedding at least.
"I don't understand, how?"
"Well Ro, when a man and woman love each other" she began to giggle.
"Yes I know that talk, but I didn't think you'd be pregnant already" I said quietly as I got up and tugged slightly on my dress.
"So your going out tonight" Indie smiled as she patted her stomach.
"Indiana, it's New Year's Eve. It's nearly 2015. It's free alcohol basically, all the men wanting to get lucky. I'm not turning that down" I laughed loudly.
