Beyond the Unkown

Chapter 3

I woke up and felt Murphy's arms around me. I felt my back against his chest and his breathe on my neck. I didn't really know how to feel about this whole situation. I've had the one night stand thing before but I didn't want this to be like that, hell I never wanted to get out of this bed. I felt Murphy shift behind me and pull me closer to him. I slowly turned in his arms so that I was facing him. He looked so peaceful when he slept. I closed my eyes and put my head against his chest.

"Your not sneaky" Murphy whispered.

"I wasn't trying to be" I whispered back. I lifted my head and looked at him "Im kind of suprised your still here. I pegged you as the kind of guy who would sneak out at dawn" I said rubbing my eyes.

"This is my tent" He laughed. "If anyone is sneaking out its you"

"Fine" I said sitting up and covering my chest with a blanket. "Go back to sleep" I said going to get up but Murphy grabbed my waist, pulling me to where I was laying faced down on his chest.

"I was kidding." He smiled. "Your not going anywhere" He said pushing his face up so his lips would meet mine. Our lips moved in sync until Murphy flipped us over so he was on top.

"You know someone is going to come in here looking for one of us right?" I said looking at him.

"Ugh" He groaned and rolled off of me. "Way to ruin a moment"

"Sorry" i laughed. I rolled on my side and layed my head on his chest. "You know what, screw everyone else. Lets just lay here and never get up" I said closing my eyes. Murphy wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him.

"I second that" He said. We layed there just listening to each other breathe and I was completly content.

"Murphy" We heard one Bellamy's minions coming into the tent, I quickly hid under the covers.

"What" Murphy spat.

I need your help with something" The kid said. "Who's under there?" I could hear the smirk the kid had.

"None of your damn buisness. Get the hell out of here." He yelled. I waited until I heard him leave to peek my head out of the covers. "Why were you hiding?"

"I didn't want some random kid seeing me naked" I said taking the blanket as I put on my bra and underwear then threw the blanket the bed. Murphy and I got dressed in silence as if we didn't knew where to go from here. I finished putting on my shoe and looked at him. "So" I said standing up.

"So" He came and stood right in front of me. "Your wondering if this was a one night stand kind of thing right?"

"Okay just because im a girl doesn't mean that is what I was going to say" I exclaimed.

"I didn't say that because your a girl" He said putting his hands up. "I said that because I was wondering too" He admitted. I was just about to answer when the kid came back and was standing outside the tent.

"I'll be right there" he yelled then looked back at me. "Come find me later?"

"Yea" I said giving him one last peck before walking out of the tent and tword the drop ship. It didn't take long to notice that the group hadn't come back yet, so I got to work with trying to find something I could do with the wiring around this thing. After a few minutes of finding out which wires were evan semi usefull Bellamy came down the ladder.

"What are you doing?" Bellamy asked. I turned to see him towering over me since I was on the floor.

"I'm not exactly sure yet, but i'll let you know when I figred it out." Looked up at him and noticed he wasn't wearing a shirt. "Looks like someone got laid last night" I laughed.

"Heard I wasn't the only one either" He laughed back. I just flipped him off as the girl he slept with came up behind him. "I'll see you later and be careful."

"Bell i'm a machanic, the is what I do" I smiled and watched as him and the girl walked off. I got back to work and a few minutes later I heard a girl screaming. I sighed and started walking out of the drop ship when I saw Murphy get tackled by Wells. I walked up behind Bellamy just in time to see Murphy punch Wells. The croud roared and cheer Murphy on as he and Wells rolled around the ground. Wells punched Murphy and stood up, looking at me and Bellamy.

"Don't you see you can't control this" Wells said.

"What and you can" I spat at him. "Just cause you think your better than us." Murphy quickly grabbed his knife and stood up.

"You're dead"He spat.

"Wait" Bellamy walked over and held Murphy back. I was getting kind of nervous at this point. "Fair fight" Bellamy pulled his knife out and threw it at Well's feet, then came back and stood infront of me. Wells hesitantly picked up the knife. Him and Murphy circled, Murphy making a couple slashes at him. Wells tried to hit Murphy but he easliy dodged it and sliced Well's arm.

"This is for my father" Murphy yelled and ran tword Wells, but he grabbed Murphy's arm spinning him around and put the knife to his throat. My heart stopped for a minute, thinking Wells was going to kill Murphy.

"Wells" I turned to see the princess from hell running down the rigde with Finn right behind her. "Let him go" She yelled. Wells hesitated for a minute before pushing Murphy tword me, I caught him but then he pushed off of me causing me to fall then charged towrd Wells, but Bellamy held him back saying that it was enough. Bellamy made sure Murphy had calmed down before noticing something was wrong with Tavia. Bellamy ran to her and I just stayed where I was on the ground, not really caring to get up. Murphy turned and looked at me before walking over to me making sure I was okay, than sat next to me.

"The good news is the radiation won't kill us" I heard Clarke say as I tuned into the conversation.

"Bad news is the grounders will" Finn finished.

"So much for home" I said getting up and walking back to the drop ship.
