the band, minus freddie and miami sat in the studio. the band were talking about the song deaky and stella had written, they ended up calling it 'another one bites the dust'. but it was different to their other songs, that's why roger and brian were not fans of it, but in all fairness, the song sounded incredible and would be a hit if they released and recorded it.

"we're a rock and roll band. we don't do disco!" roger complained from the sofa, his arms spread out in the corners of it.

"it's not disco," deaky replied, shaking his head.

"then what is it?"

"it's queen," stella added.

freddie's voice suddenly sounded from the microphone that was connected into the studio, "so sorry, my darlings!" he announced, "lost track!" he then walked into the main studio, acting as if he wasn't the biggest wanker the night before to stella and reid.

roger shot up in anger, "you fired Reid without consulting us!" he yelled. "you don't make decisions for the band!" stella shook her head at the boys. yes, she was pissed at freddie but there was no point, he had already fired him and threatened to kill him. she looked over to miami who sat across the table from her, he was the only person that worked alongside the band she genuinely liked. he was almost like a father figure for the girl, he cared about her.

"well, i'm terribly sorry, dear. it's done," he deadpanned, "besides... miami will manage us. won't you, darling?" the group looked over to him, as he nervously chuckled while shifting in his seat.

"erm... i'll think about it..." he answered, going back to his papers.

"are you high again?" brian asked. stella had now stood up and walked over to deaky, sitting in the chair next to him.

"well done, columbo!" he said sarcastically. even after yesterday, freddie now seemed like a bigger wanker, to everyone but paul in general. he was more cold and bitter to them showing no remorse in what he said to them which was far from different to the old freddie who was caring and kind to everyone.

"you need to slow down, fred!" brian suggested.

"oh, don't be such a bore. i'm here, aren't i?"

"are you?" roger asked rhetorically, throwing his arms up.

john got up, handing freddie the lyrics, pushing them to his chest, "i don't care if you're shit-faced. as long as you can sing," he then handed them to roger who rolled his eyes huffing in frustration.

"no, john!" he groaned, "i don't wanna play it!" yes freddie had been a complete arse, but it doesn't excuse rog from being a total dick. the others weren't happy with fred, but they had dealt with it. if anyone should be annoyed or not wanting to be near freddie, it should be stella after all he said last night.
