First Encounter

"Hey (y/n)! This should be the last of it! Do you need any help sorting all this stuff out?"

"Great! And thanks, but I think I can take it from here." I smile as I walk in my new home to see Luffy making a meal off of my trail mix, while Ace passes out on the couch.

Sabo turns to me with a smile as he starts to unload some of the dishes from the box and smiles at me as I sit another down on the island. "Well at least let me help clear out a couple things. I would feel like I left you with the worse part." He chuckles and I smile softly.

"Now don't feel like that. You three have already done so much and have been such a big help! I'm so grateful for all you three have done for me."

"You know, you could've stayed with us for as long as you wanted. We all really enjoy having you at home with us."

"I know and I enjoy living with you guys too. But this place is closer to work, and it's time for me to be an adult and live on my own for a bit."

He looks at me softly and ruffles my hair. "We'll if you ever decide you want to come back, you're always welcome." There was a crash as a sudden tumble was heard and we look to see Ace and Luffy fighting over the trail mix.

"Come on Luffy! Your picking out all the good stuff!"

"No way!"

I couldn't help but laugh as Sabo facepalms and he sighs. " I don't know if I'm gonna be able to handle them on my own..."

I couldn't help but laugh as I pat him on the back. "Come on, you did a good job before I moved in! Plus, if you need to get out of the house, you can come over anytime!"

"(Y:n), you're truly a saint..." he cries and I laugh.

"Oy! We heard that!" Ace yells and I grin.

After the brothers helped me with some of the unpacking, I ordered a pizza and drinks for all of us, as thanks for their hard work. As we are we talked about times when we were kids running from Grandpa Garp and climbing trees to our lives today. Luffy is now in his Senior year of high school while Ace became manager of the restaurant him and his friend Thatch works with, and Sabo has made front page on the newspaper... Now I get to begin my big change, and I smile to myself as I glance at the people around me. Although, surprisingly the three were a bit quite around the table as they glance at one another, causing me to raise a brow.

"Guys... what's up?" I ask and they all grow stiff before Ace glances from his food to me.

"...(Y/n).... Are you sure you going to be alright here, by yourself?"

"Ace... is this about what you said earlier about the area being a little rough?" I raise a brow and Ace and Sabo smile awkwardly as Luffy continues to eat.

" Look, I just heard from Pops that the area is close to Punk Hazard territory. We all are just worried about you, that's all." Sabo explains and I sigh quietly before smiling reassuringly.

"Guys, I'm fully aware of that. But don't you think you guys are being a little hypocritical?" I say as I cross my arms and they all freeze. "You three really didn't think I would find out?"

"... A-and that would be?"

I point to each of them, starting with Ace and finishing with Sabo. "That you joined Pop's biker gang, Luffy is starting a gang of his own.... and you. You've been playing 'vigilante reporter' and helping the Grandpa Garp and the police take down drug lords and crooked politicians. Did I miss anything?"

Luffy actually stopped eating as the all their jaws dropped to the floor and their faces all held the same question.

" Come on guys, I'm not as oblivious as you think! I did your laundry, treated and even tutored you guys for rent. I've seen the biker vest, and I was the one who treated Luffy after he got into fights, and Sabo was always out late."
