Murder in the dark

Chapter #1

I woke up to a startle, with a breeze in the air, sitting up in the middle of the woods. It was very dark and misty.

I heard fast foots steps coming toward me, so I quickly got to my feet and ran, not knowing who it is.

Not far ahead was a gas station on the side of the road I figured its best to hide in there... But as I got closer I realized it had been abandoned, luckily for me it was unlocked. I heard someone run onto the streets, so I got behind the cash register and hid in the cupboard. To scared to even breath I heard the bell on the door ring as someone stepped in side!

Could this have been the end for me? The guy was wearing cowboy boots and leather gloves. I could see he's shadow/figure through the peek of the cupboard doors. He stoping walking around and started to whistle.

He whispered " I know your in here.. Come out come out where ever you are, I'll make your death nice and quick".

He walked into the back of the store witch have me the chance to run so I took it. As soon as I was about 10 feet away from the horrible place the guy I now call 'dead man' bursted out of the store, I keep running witch seemed like forever.

I screamed as 'dead man' Drew closer as I got weaker, almost feeling the tip of the knife on my back in his hands. There had to be miles and miles of road and forest before I could get help ' this is really the end' I thought to myself 'was I really going to die?'. I had know clue wear I was going so I took a left turn into the forest hoping the 'dead man' would loose me but he didn't he keep a steady pace behind me.
