HAPON NA NANG makatanggap ako ng tawag mula kay Chase. Malapit na raw siya kaya inabangan namin siya sa highway at ginabayan papunta sa aming apartment.

"Since when did you moved here?" tanong ni Chase.

"Last month lang. After ma bankrupt ng company namin and after they killed themselves," sabi ni Zius sabay turo sa dalawang urn na nasa taas ng maliit na cabinet.

Tumango si Chase. "I already investigated your company. It's a perfume company, right?"

I nodded. "What are you?"

Chase chuckled. "If you're thinking that I'm a bad guy, I am but not the way you think."

"So? How's the investigation?" I asked.

"Three of them are drug lords. They have their own cartel somewhere. We're not yet done investigating. Four of them are linked in child prostitution, they're pedophiles. Disgusting," ani Chase habang nakakuyom ang kamao.

The three of us froze when we saw how Chase's tone changed. His expression, everything about him changed. He was scary.

"I will stay here and help them," seryosong sabi ni Arron.

Tumango si Chase. "Okay. Let's continue?"

CHASE CLEARED HIS throat. "I'm working in a secret company called L'azienda. It is legal. We kill people if we have no choice but mostly, we just torture them to investigate. Keep in mind that we only kill or torture bad people.

I was based in Italy so no one knows except for the three of you that I'm part of them. If the government or the international agencies couldn't handle it, the only resort they have is us, the company. You can't use the name of L'azienda when other people are around.

You can use 'the company' since that is the english translation of it. The company only captures powerful people. Most of the people that we're investigating are drug lords, corrupts, rapists, pedophiles, and other crimes done by a powerful person.
