*a week later*

The Mud-pouring event was still fresh in the Hogwarts minds. No suspect had been yet found, but the students had a hint it was a muggleborn student. Elena made sure the jar would be hidden by telling a niffler to put it deep under the earth. While this wouldn't be what that creature normally does, Elena was always every magical creature's favourite human, and got special favours.

Elena was roaming the corridors, looking for Dawn. As it seemed, her cat was the only creature that did not succumb to her power...but then again, it wasn't a magical creature.

She saw Selwyn and Nott in the hallway. Selwyn looked apologetic. She went closer and strained her hearing.

"I didn't do it...I swear I didn't..." he pleadingly said.

"I don't care what you have to say. Whether you did it or not, it doesn't matter. I've been humiliated infront of people, and any more association with you will damage my reputation. I'm going to tell Simon too."  She said, and then took a gulp from her water bottle.she then added;

"I'd actually liked you, and you turned into a beast. You deserve it."

"No, please...I'll be expelled if you do..." he whispered, sounding rather pathetic. It was rather unusual to the ears.
She looked at him blankly, and then emptied her water bottle over him.
Selwyn gasped as it poured over him, but did not make any other sound of complaint. Nott was smirking in a menacing way.

"There you go. Maybe you'll be a little bit cleaner now. You know what? I think all of Slytherins should know. It would make great gossip..that you're actually an animal."

She was enjoying herself. This was one of the abusive things about her. If someone was scared of her, if she saw them as harmless, she liked to scare it further. She liked hurting vulnerable people just for satisfaction that she can hurt them.

She turned around to leave, and nearly jumped when she found herself face-to-face with Elena.

"Hello princess." Elena endearingly said. She resisted the urge to slap her.

"I know it's none of my business, but aren't you being a horrible friend?"

"Get out of my way mudblood." Nott snarled at her.

"Hey, come on. Aren't you a little dirty too now, after the mud?"

Nott tried to slap Elena, who grabbed her raised hand.
Elena narrowed her eyes at Nott, tightening her grip. She then spoke in a low, threatening voice.

"Going to slap me? Of coarse, because last time went so well..."
Nott kept glaring. She wasn't scared of the threat this time.

"What do you want?"

"You like to spread rumors about people, right? Then what if I tell the headmistress...that you performed the killing curse on a niffler last week just for fun? They are still looking for who did it. Professor Wells was furious."

The color in Nott's face drained away. She looked aghast.

"You're really discrete with your plans, but very bad at hiding your excitement."

Nott did not respond. She merely kept a sour look on her face. Elena knew she had her cornered.
She could have told a professor, but she could not predict how Elios would react to it.

"Let's make a deal. You don't tell anyone about Selwyn's condition, and I let you pass this one time."

Nott raised an eyebrow at her.

"You know that he's a werewolf too?"

Elena smirked.

"I suggest you stop using the word 'werewolf' altogether."
