Riley:
I've got to give it to Susan, I was impressed at how well she was at this. She had my parents wrapped around her finger as she continued to talk. I glance from Susan and my parents from time to time. My parents loved Susan and the boys. Especially Susan. She was different from any other friend that I've had. Well one that doesn't do drugs. She was well mannered and dressed appropriately. The boys as well. They cleaned up good. I wonder what my parents would think if they were to see Grayson. Who was always dressed in black tees and dark blue skinny jeans. I shake the thought out of my head focusing on what Susan was saying. "Mr&Mrs. Clark I would like it if Riley could accompany us for a week at my older brothers loft in Silverstein. Now before you completely deny my invite I can see why you would be at odds with my request. It's just that I-we would like to expose Riley to more cultural sites in the city. We're going to be visiting the museums, art gallery's and the towns very own attraction spots." She continues. I've got to give it to her. Even I was believing her. My parents were eating out of the palm of her hand and she wasn't even really trying. She just sat there so causally. My parents look at each other as she reaches into her bag pulling out a red folder. It catches my parents attention because they look back at her. "I've composed a list of numbers and names. My parents names and numbers are included in there as well as these two," She flashes between Daniel and Cody. Then she extends her arm handing the folder to my dad first. "Along with the contact list are brief summaries as to the places we'll be visiting." I can't believe this girl. She went above and beyond what she was asked to do just to help me. Susan smiles tossing her hair away from her face. "If it helps put you a little at ease my brother Marcus is going to be there. To watch over us since he is well over age. Twenty four to be exact." Susan said. "His number is also in the contact list." She adds meekly. She falls quiet taking a deep breath. My mom looks at the papers in the folder then back at my dad. "There is going to be some rules of you are going," My mom said. "Firstly, you must call at least once a day. Then just text us a few times throughout the day. Secondly, no parties, no drinking and no drugs. Third and foremost, you are to sleep alone or in the same room as Susan. No boys. If you can respect all three rules then you may go." She remarks. "Yes, I promise I will do all of those things." I say. They both nod with a smile on their face. "Then you may want to go pack your suitcase." My dad said. I squeal in delight hugging both of them. I can't believe that they let me go. Never in a million years did I think my parents would let me go. It doesn't take me long to quickly pack a duffle bag of clothes for the week. As I run back downstairs my parents are waiting for me at the door. "Here is a few hundred." My dad handed me the money. I take it from his hands pocketing it. "Call us if you need anything and don't forget the conditions." My mother reminds me. She hugs me then steps away from me. "Just have fun kiddo." My dad said kissing the side of my head. "I will. Love you guys." I call over my shoulder as I follow Susan and the boys out of the house. We don't talk until we are in the car. "I can't believe that worked. You're a genius!" I exclaim. Susan blushes starting her car. "Acting classes when I was little. Paid off didn't it?" She says confidently. "What time is the party?" Daniel asks. "Nine. We've got two hours." Cody said. "My house then?" Susan asks. The boys just grunt in agreement. Susan flips them off then heads down the road. I still couldn't believe that my parents were going to let me go. I pull out my phone texting Brad.
Me: It's ago. I will see you tomorrow. It doesn't take long from him to answer.
Brad: See you soon! Btw I'm staying in Plasma Hotel. I don't know how I'm feeling about having to see Brad. I was a little nervous but at the same time I was excited. But first and for most we needed to get this party out of the way.
