CHAPTER 1
It was a cold winter night of December. Zayn was just calmly sitting by the balcony of his unit on the 19th floor. He scanned pages of various magazines, counted all the stars on the left division of the dark yet sparkling sky. He had scrutinized every number left of his contacts to call. But guess all he wanted to talk to was Liam. He tried to cover songs but he couldn’t cause it’ll never be the same without Liam. He realized, Liam is everything to him.
He just finished his warm shower. Liam turned the TV on just to see any updates on his favorite boy band, The White Eskimo. There were none, none at all. He went down to Starbucks to see if Louis and Eleanor would be passing by so he could join ‘em and hang out. They weren’t there. He called and knew they were in the Universal Studios spending some quality time together. It was their 7th month. Liam felt loneliness. He was deluding himself that he’s alright. But he couldn’t help it. He just remembered going to grocery with Zayn. He strolled directly to the grocery and checked carefully if Zayn was there. He didn’t want Zayn to know he was looking for him. Pride it may be. But though, Zayn is his everything. Zayn wasn’t there.
The street of West Lane Baildon was very busy at that time. All street passers went here, went there, and went everywhere. But Liam can’t see Zayn. Neither Zayn could see Liam from the balcony up above. As the time gets longer, their feelings get more intense. They miss each other more than just the minute ago. Hours passed, they both came to think: I should swallow my pride and go to him.
Zayn passed by the narrow street behind his condo. He passed through KFC and got Liam a basket of chicken for their dinner. He took the big red bus to Wolverhampton. He sensed a mixture of feelings from his heart sank through his stomach. He was both nervous and excited to see Liam. He badly wants to see and hug Liam. He wanted to be the one who’ll say sorry. He felt drifting through the air as he gets nearer and nearer Wolverhampton.
Liam took a train to Bradford. But before he rode on, he got Zayn a set of new CDs to stack and to listen at. He wanted Zayn to remember him just by listening to those tracks. His heart was pounding. Yes, pounding. He can’t help his lips’ smile reach his striking eyes. His yearning for Zayn had just become more and more severe as he gets nearer and nearer to West Lane Baildon.
Zayn arrived at Wolverhampton. Liam reached W.Lane Baildon. But Liam wasn’t there. Zayn wasn’t in his unit. All Zayn had caught was Dani waiting for Liam too. And all that Liam saw was Perrie knocking on Zayn’s room. Zayn and Liam deeply sighed. They only wanted to see one another. They missed one another so much that all they could do is panic. All they could feel couldn’t get more intense. They both returned with disappointment.
But as they pass through the same train station at the East, they still hoped to meet. They can’t give up. They love one another that much. As Zayn get up the train, Liam went down. Both their eyes stroke the other’s. Zayn was shivering. Liam was internally screaming. They were just 3 feet away one another. They weren’t able to help their emotions. Zayn hugged Liam and kissed his cold neck. Liam grasped Zayn’s jacket and grappled his slim torso. It took them less than 15 seconds before they went down the train. They were both speechless. They just wanted to be in each other’s arms. They endlessly smiled and gently touched each other’s soft and tender hands. They took the bus to West Lane Baildon. They went to Zayn’s unit. There, they started the vivid confrontation.
CHAPTER 2
“Go on, Liam.” Zayn whispered as they stepped into his condo. It was very cold. Zayn had forgotten to turn the air-conditioner off because he hustled to look for Liam.
“I was on my way to give you these.” Zayn said while pertaining to the bucket of chicken. Suddenly, they were hushed.
“Look, I was afraid to go to you cause you might still be mad or something. I thought it’d be better if I just stay here and let you be, but---“, cut-off, Liam uttered on a whisper...
