Chapter 5 New Comers

So we have been traveling for a while now. Gage and Morgan have been complaining the entire trip about being hungry. Everyone else has been doing ok. We finally make it to Texas. Kate asks "What city to your friends live in?" I replied "They live in Dallas. My sister Carolyn lives there to." Kate says "Dallas is only a couple minutes away from here." I say "Well thats good because were about out of gas." We keep traveling when we finaly made it to Dallas where my friends live. We kept driving until we reached there house that was all boarded up. I say "I havent seen them in a while so i cant wait to see if there ok." We go up to the boarded door and beat it down. I ask Michael and Hannah to keep gaurd at the door. Me Brooke and Kate go and look around for them. My Mom and the kids stay and sit on the couch. I yell out "CHELSEY! HAILEY! Its me James im here with my friends we are going to help you!" Hailey comes out with chelsey and they run up and hug me. They ask "How did you get all the way here?" I reply "Well i met up with some peoiple and they had a car and we eventually made it here. People on the radio said that there was a safe house in Texas. We dont know where in Texas it is though." Chelsey replies I dont know where it is sorry." Michael runs in and says "We need to go a huge group of zombies are heading this way!" I say "Ok lets go. Where do you need to go we have no gas?" Hailey says "There is a day care center up the road if we can make it there we should be ok." Well we run and gather everyone and start to run to the day care center. Me and Brooke break open the door and get everyone inside. We all gather in the main area. Me Michael and Brooke go and check the rest of the building. I ask Brooke and Michael "What do you think is going to happen to us so many of us are dieing?" Michael replies "I think we need to just stay put somewhere because we dont even know if the safe house is even there." Brooke says "Well its worth a try to find it because a safe house would be the safest place and if it isnt there than we can make our own safe house." Well lets stay here for the night and a group of us will go look for it tomorrow." So we head back the builing looks clear. My Moms dog Tanzie is probebly about to die of her cancer so i take my mom in the back room and give her this shot to give to Tanzie to kill her peacefully. My Mom takes it and goes into the back room. Hannah follows her back there and she didnt know what she was doing to the dog. Hannah thought it was some type of cure she was giving to the dog to keep it from getting infected. Then Hannah pulled out her gun after my Mom put the shot in the kill her dog and shot my mom through the stomach. I rush in there to see what happened and saw that Hannah had shot my Mom she was laying there suffering bleeding out to death. So i pulled out my  gun and blew Hannahs Brains out. I ran to my Mom and told her "I will be ok Mom i wont let you die." My Mom died right in my arms. I wa crying and yelling "Why did this have to happen to her why not me!" Everyone came over and sat next to me conforting me. We all were sad but i had to let go and so we were going to have memorial servie for her death  tomorrow.. Everyone went to sleep and i stayed up a little bit but i went to sleep a little later.
