After abnormally long classes it was finally lunch time. I went over to the lunch line and to get the nasty food, it wasn't really compulsory to eat the school food. Most people just brought something from home which I'd love to do but can't because of that bitch I call my mother. She was the reason I never wanted to go home. My poor dad insisted on staying with her "for the kids."
I finally made it to the front of the que and of course they were serving dry mashed potatoes for the 100th time this year. I mumbled under my breath and dragged my feet to my regular lunch table where I found Nick and of course he was with Seth and Alex.
"Go away," I said harshly.
"Clearly you're not a people person," Seth said while flipping me off.
"No shit sherlock now leave."
"She seems to like having us here," Nick stated while pointing at Ali.
I looked over at Ali and saw her blushing profusely while staring at Alex. His breath hitched while Nick and Seth just chuckled. Ryan looked pissed and gave them a death glare.
"What the fuck do you want," Ry asked clearly sick of them
"Can't we just say hi to our favourite people," Nick said while smiling sweetly.
"Quit the ass kissing I said what do you want," Ry asked again.
Nick quickly straightened his posture and turned to face me, "Well-"
He didn't finish his statement because Seth quickly interrupted. "Big old softie here forced us to come to your table because he was worried about you."
Nick instantly started coughing excessively and shoved Seth.
"I wouldn't phrase it that way, I'm just being a good host and came to check if my guests had a good time."
"If this is about Ronald I handled that perfectly," I said proudly.
"I saw that from the way he was clutching his balls, but are you sure he didn't touch you," Nick said in a pained voice.
Was I hallucinating or was Nick actually being genuine and caring for once. He was one of the school jerks, he literally never showed genuine emotion.
"I'm pretty sure," I said smiling, he visibly relaxed and went back to his normal cocky self.
"Great now that that's settled can you give us your car keys, I am not willing to spend 3 more hours walking around with this guy looking like this," Seth said looking Nick up and down.
"You seriously think I trust you three with my car?" I said in an amused tone.
"Fine come with me," I looked over at Nick who had the most questioning look on his face.
"That's fine Cowvaski , she's still eating I'll go with you instead," Ry quickly responded.
Alissa looked over at Ry with threatening eyes.
"Actually El told me she was planning to go buy food off campus why doesn't she just go right now," Ali said while shoving me off the bench. I looked at her with wide eyes but I knew there was no way she'd let me stay.
"We'll stay behind and eat," Alex said as he plopped down next to Seth.
"Let's go then," Nick said.

When we were finally at the parking lot I handed him his clothes and started walking away.
"What about your food? Didn't you say you wanted to buy something?" Nick asked with an eyebrow raised.
