The school that I go to will always hold a school festival. This has been going on for over 50 years. I have just started to attend this school. However, the incident that happened last year is still ringing from the classes. The person named Juumonji was the topic of the school. Apparently, a lot of clubs were stolen from, and the person always left a note saying that something was lost. The literature club, who sold copies of hyouka, said that they would try and find him, but failed. This year, they are hosting the event of finding Juumonji 's case.

I didn't think much, until I started looking into it. Not much was laid out, only the famous note, a piece of paper that showed all the clubs from last year, and the club sheet that showed all the clubs that were stolen. Also, 4 people were inside, Eru Chitanda, the president, fuukube satoshi, a council member Mayaka Ibara, an artist from the manga club and Houtarou Oreki, who is just a member. All 4 were in sitting by a desk, waiting for people. However, nobody came. I decided to start the game that they set up.

Eru said "welcome to the mystery of Juumonji. We need your help in solving the case of Juumonji. The literature club is a place where we solve mysteries. However, we failed last year. Now we request your help."

Fuukube said "you don't have to worry about mistakes. I have all the data we need."

Oreki then said "That prank last year was so tiring. I was so alert. Can we just get this over with?"

I said "ok. Let me step by later."

After all that, I decided to ask around. First I went to the student council. All of the people were saying that the best of the detectives were not able to solve the mystery. Even the literature club, who announced that they would try and find this person out, failed.

I decided to go back. I decided that this would be the first thing I do. I will see for myself the case that they have brought onto me.

Ibara said "you're back. Now let's begin."
